This will be my DD if somehow it can manage a 16 hours battery with 3 hours of screen-on time, once the USB mounting is fixed. I love MIUI. Great work so far.

You can barely get that with a stock ROM.  Your expectations are a little high. ;)

Try this launcher. Its my fav.

Also to all:

There is still no 4g for me anyway, on vzw.

I made a Super Manager shortcut to mobile networks & the lte apn keeps getting replaced by the eHRPD one.

And lte evdo will not stick either.

I do think this still has a 4g issue.  When I flashed the other day, I only showed 3g, in a strong 4g area.  I don't think it's just an indication problem because when I restored back to SlimBean, I was still stuck on 3g, until I changed my mobile network settings.

You could have messed up your radio.

Guarantee I didn't break the radio.  3g signal indication is discussed in the OP, but I don't think it's just indication.  Other people have talked about lack of 4g connection.

I've been using the rom for a couple of days now-

To anyone who's interested in using this phone in a GSM carrier (I'm on an international carrier, but according to people this phone also works on at&t/t-mobile after editing nv_edit using radiocomm or something like that)

First, I fixed the build.prop myself to enable GSM/HSDPA since this phone is clearly capable, just wasn't enabled. It recognized the carrier, but no data. I tried editing the APN, but it wouldn't save.

I downloaded an APN app specific to my country hoping it would work, and voila! full hsdpa, actually it's weird- I've been getting extremely good reception with this rom, better than any rom on the razr m thus far, is this normal or is the rom reporting signal strength incorrectly?

If someone wants, I can either post the build.prop only (you'd have to add it to the zip file using winrar or something) or my flashable zip.

Before I sumbit the bug reports and such- some compliments. I didn't expect this rom to be this smooth or this well designed- this is basically what IOS 7 Should've been, I admit, I'm a recent android user, I've mostly used IOS since I like it's smoothness and good preformance, and I find stock android sort of dull and grim, all black colors and whatnot. And unfortunately having gone through many android phones in the last 6 months I've found it's hard to expect what you get, each manufacturer has it's own "OS" which has its' own quirks. I find this ROM to give me an escape from the near stock "Motoblur", finally giving me some good toggles and a very nice settings\"springboard" interface. I haven't had a crash yet, though it's not perhathe fastest ROM, it's one I could see myself truly enjoying.

Now, onto bug reports and some suggestions:

Firstly, GPS  doesn't work for me. I tried using waze and google maps, they kind of know where I am (I suspect using radio towers and wifi) but waze reports no GPS is active even though I turned it on in the settings.

Also, the dialer has some problems- it seems like the numbers aren't quite matching my button presses, it's hard to describe- you try and press 5 but it presses 2. Perhaps the dpi is wrong I have no idea. In any case I replaced it with espier dialer which looks like IOS dialer, I heard exdialer is also good.

Camera app is acting weird, I need more testing but it took some horrible shots don't know why, couldn't focus for some reason. It seems better now though.

Now for suggestions-

1)Don't get me wrong, I love the bright settings and all, it reminds me of IOS, but unfortunatly this phone uses a super amoled screen- the brighter the color the more battery drain there is. I suggest having the option for an inverted theme/some inverted apps.

2)This is a long shot- are there any more languages in the MIUI rom? I personally use hebrew, and there's a MIUI hebrew rom website I just found, if I provide you with some roms to devices such as S3/S2/S1/Meizu MX2/Xiaomi MI-One/MI-2/2A/2S 3.7.5 would that help?

I hope this was helpful to some of you, I for one greatly enjoy this rom.

It's a resolution issue, If you can find me a base that has what I need (a CM10 base MIUI from a phone w/ the same resolution) I can do another build

This works great for maintenance of wifi lease. Set it to autostart.

Yes but I don't give a fk about 4.1.2 so once 4.2.2 for the 926 is finished, it comes here

Angraf and I've made progress with this and the only thing that needs to be tweaked are RIL related things which aren't a huge deal.

The base I'm working from now is a match for this devices native resolution and it will run beautifully, the way MIUI is supposed to when done right.

And yes I'm implying that I didn't do this right, even if it works It's resolution is not ideal at all because of the base used and I realize I will have to do Razr M as a standalone thing, I can't fork the 926 to it and expect a rom with good feels

Calm down people lol They are doing their best to get us a great MIUI build and it doesn't just happen overnight, especially when they have other things they are working on.

I am willing to be a tester if you still need one, I seen that in the other thread...

keep up the good work and thank you for building MIUI for us!
