Any work around for the "sim toolkit" ,default message, no/yes?
Shows up all the time.
Deleting stk.apk breaks data.

Also speedtest : only at 3g or less.
I am on VZW.

 

I flashed the Bytecode kernel.
Works better maybe.

Edit No. I went back to the Miui kernel.

Re-read the OP, it says to use the kernel that comes with the ROM.  Until Tquetski gets the other kernels to work, you're probably going to run into issues with Code Kernel.  Plus, it's designed for 4.2.2 based AOSP ROMs.  This is 4.1.2.

just meant this is the 2nd build of this ROM. I flashed the previous one and then this one. So to me it is an update. Are you having any issues on this ROM?

Oh, ok! No real issues other than the SIM pop up message...I love this ROM. I've been familiar with MIUI since the Droid X lol so I'm very pleased to have this for my Razr M.

got it going. I'm not sure I like that you can't move apps off the homescreens. Can't use other launchers either. Everytime I press the home key it hoes back to Miui launcher. Suggestions?

That's the point of MIUI.  It emulates iOS.

Rename the miuihome to ...apkk.

Paste your Fav launcher to system/app w/ perms & owner set. Reboot.

Permissions manager !!! is in the new app drawer of your launcher.

Beats Me other than I used the VanquishKittiesN39 and it did cause some freezing up so I switched back.

I forgot, Why does permissions manager ask for root when I unlock the screen after each bootup?

Edit: I did not realize the remember box was not checked.

That's what I do... Use one folder as a pseudo app draw. Place it at the bottom center of the home screen and viola!

thanks! Works great! I have not yet placed my favorite launcher in system apps yet due to not knowing where I can find apps that I have downloaded. Lol. But the app store launcher took over after renaming the home launcher.

This will be my DD if somehow it can manage a 16 hours battery with 3 hours of screen-on time, once the USB mounting is fixed. I love MIUI. Great work so far.

I have no idea, that's something new to me. There's a lot of free ones available though.

MiCredits are bought with RL money, USB mounting works if you enable it in Settings, Under storage.

 

The Theme engine is used to apply new Global themes, to see how this goes check "iOS 7" Theme in market for example to make MIUI mimic iPhone

I made a Super Manager shortcut to mobile networks & the lte apn keeps getting replaced by the eHRPD one.

And lte evdo will not stick either.
