Tried to flash this ROM...no luck.  Did all the wipe/clean/clear per OP.  Flashed ROM using Philz Touch 5.  ROM flashed just fine, but no WiFi. Then tried to flash TW Kernel and got a bootloop.  Went back to recovery and cleaned/wiped again and flashed...same thing...no WiFi and when I flashed the kernel got bootloop.  So, went back to my stock, rooted backup.  Here is what I'm running:

SCH i545 Dev Edition

4.2.2

Baseband: i545OYUAMDK

Kernel: 3.4.0-562219

Any idea?

Yeah, that is what I was flashing.  Kept getting a bootloop.  I think I didn't fix permissions after flashing kernel so I'm going to give it another try.

Were you able to resolve the wifi issue with a re-flash?

Yes, thanks for asking.  When I originally flashed the kernel I did not wipe cache/delvak and fix permissions.  After I FOLLOWED INSTRUCTIONS everything worked fine.

As much as i wanted to wait for a way to preserve the stock dev kernel i will most likely go this route sooner than later. Some of these roms looks really solid.

Yeah I know what you mean.  However, this link provides a download for a "dev stock kernel, modem and recovery" :http://www.sxtpdevel...hread.php?t=237.  I haven't tried them yet.  Here is another link discussing dev stock kernel:http://forum.xda-dev...03#post46076803

I've tried both Rage and Eclipse.  Both are nice ROMS, smooth and everything works...everything.  Easy on battery, fast with some nice "goodies".  the Eclipse ROM has the TW kernel included in the ROM, no separate flash.  Since I had already flashed the TW kernel I decided to try them both out.  Rage is nice and I like the "stock" feel to it, hard to explain what I mean by that, but I really like it.

Thanks for the input. I have always liked AOKP and may give that a shot also. Big help. thanks again
