Yes I saw that. Just have never gone in and deleted or changed files yet for anything. I'm sure I can figure it out but was just wondering if I could use the rsd lite and fast boot files for 6.11.744 that I still have on my computer and go back to that. Then just ota update back to 181? Then I should be completely stock and un rooted right?

Nubai1, that is a warning msg that you get when your device doesn't have the BackupAsst files, …have you been rooting youre phone, running custom roms, or freezing BA ? ;-) LOL

You login to VZW My Account & under the pic of your phone look to disable the BA stuff, don't have it in front of me; but you just dig a bit into Services options & disable BA & you should get no more 6250 txts fm vzw.

There may be a thread here somewhere on getting rid of the 6250 msg …

That's your best bet. Then you KNOW you are 100% stock.

has anyone actually received the soak ? i applied and have yet to get a response.... anyone? i have two maxxes one is 100% stock and the other ....well...... its been thru the mill let just say ....lol. love the new roms and stuff you devs are working on...

No word yet... Rumor has it maybe pushing out Tuesday of next week but who knows.

I read the 22nd for the start of soak and 27th for full update. This would make sense given that moto usually likes to release soaks right before the weekend..

I got the invite but I am good right where I am at the moment. I have ICS and I'm happy. Just waiting for custom roms to be built against what we have now.

If you got the invite. Did you take the time and read the details if the terms of agreement before accepting it? Says you do not talk about anything dealing with the invite/soak. This is how things leak out and make it difficult for Motorola to trust people after they sign up. Please stop talking about it. You could ruin it for all of us. Loose lips sinks ships. Think about it. Monitors please lock this thread. What people are talking about goes against the agreement they accepted. Also, makes us (droidrzr.com) look bad.

I'm pretty sure this thread isn't going to cause anything bad. The worst that could happen is they don't let the people talking in but I don't think that really comes into play until after the soak starts.

It makes me mad that people openly talk about it, knowing they are bound not to by the agreement they signed. To me, it makes the site look bad. That we are letting them talk about it. I do not deal with xda forums anymore as this.site is top dawg. But, it can mess things up for all of us. They might never have testing or be open about updates or phones till they come out. Its just, where is the fox trout is the commonsense?

Yes they do know...but they also will ban you. Why would you even go so far as to sign up if you just want to violate terms and conditions you agree to. No they won't catch everyone spilling the beans but most people who get the opportunity to actually be heard by a manufacturer or a moto tech would take that seriously and appreciate the fact they were given the opportunity to help. Very few can be selected to help. It seems ignorant to attempt to help a company that is trying to be good on a timeframe just to have some people blabber about there findings to people who can't help fix them

Honestly if Motorola was going to get mad about anything I think it would have been the 100's of people who flooded their server for the leaks.
