happy to report that battery life on 4.2.2 is stock-like.

after 25 hours with Wifi on, bluetooth on, ~2hrs on-screen time, down to 15%.

also, no additional mods, battery saving apps, or kernels - just the ROM straight up!

the key for me (I think), was after installing the ROM, I let the phone automatically power off (drain down to 0%).  I then plugged it in (still off) until it reached 100% (took about 2 1/2 hours), then I turned the phone on.

right now, I have 2 small reservations (which appear to common among all 4.2.2 ROMs): audio record on camcorder still not as strong as 4.1.2, and when a received call ends, the phone screen does not show up after I pull the phone off my ear.  I'm sure there is a build.prop setting for that.... just need to research that....

but really really nice work tim!

I probably would check out 4.3, but from what I read, the only significant feature of 4.3 over 4.2.2 is better bluetooth connectivity, and my phone connects just fine to my car for calls.

I'll sit back and wait for KitKat (4.4) to arrive....

I was in the same thought as you originally buy the main plus for me in 4.3 is anti lag. The speed of 4.3 is noticeably different to me... Give it a go... I haven't found any issues yet other than the keyboard. But that idea gapps thing and can be fixed by flashing slims latest gapps.

sure, I'll give it a go soon.  but, I do not notice any lag on the 4.2.2 ROM, as i've got about 300+ MB free RAM.  comparatively, on PACMan, I had less than 100 MB routinely - and that was with Greenify (but that was also before you took it over, and I did not try your version).

Just flashed 9-6 and I'm getting fc's. There's no dialer installed. Going to try to go to 9-5, currently on 8-1

android.process.acore

Keyboard (AOSP)

Edit - I just cleared data, system, caches and tried 3rd, 5th, and 6th. They all come up with Keyboard AOSP FC's...

Are you dirty flashing over the 8/1 version?

Got the same thing. Try wiping system before flashing update.

I was, but then even did a full wipe and a fresh install and the same thing happened. Found others talking about it on xda, but there was no solution or further discussion. Needed it working so just went to Pacman for now.

When Tim uploads his 4.3 builds, I think he deletes his 4.2 builds.

I still got a copy of the latest build. But I'll await Tims approval before posting it.

Looks like I might have to try out 4.3 again, now that it's settled down a bit.

i'm intrigued.... but still, has the issue with rear mic on camcorder not working been resolved yet? given that i've got kids, I take a lot of videos, so this is almost a deal-breaker for me...

Can anyone tell me how to fully wipe system using cwm? When I try to flash a new rom there is always the previous files still intact in a folder called "0".

I installed this ROM on a friends RAZR HD  a while back and decided i wanted it for my phone also so i tried it out but it was too buggy the first couple of days so ive let it settle down a bit and now im back. i tried installing the 9-17 but got stuck on boot logo and tried 9-19 today but i keep getting AOSP keyboard force closes every five seconds, any ideas? install the google keyboard apk outside of the playstore from a computer possibly? need some help i enjoy even the slim five seconds of use i get out of it:)
i updated my TWRP to 2.5 today and i installed the latest 4.3 GAPPS which were updated 9-18

Man-crush amazing?

I wouldn't go that far...
And I've noticed that this ROM has a slow framerate feel to it along with slow responsiveness to things like scrolling down the page. I've clean installed it three times and installed cross breeder to see if it helps but no avail. I also can't find a version of bytes kernel that doesn't stick me to the boot logo.
Would it be a kernel issue or am I missing something?
