To be honest I use code kernel with everything. I am running the latest nightly now with vanquish kitties n39 and the newest crossbreeder and it flies! I have even considered baking it in in the future.

well, your work/this ROM has never had any problem with performance.

my sole concern for using the custom kernel and cross breeder would be to get back the extra battery life that we lost by going to 4.2.2

however, that being said, with running just the 6/29 build (no custom kernel, no crossbreeder, no V3 script, no mod whatsoever), I am happy to report that I reached 1day+ on a single charge (with 2+ hours of on screen time).

curious to see if anyone else is running into the same update issue as me.

each time I flash an update, I get "Android Keyboard AOSP has stopped".

I tried restoring via TiBu the app, but no dice.

I must be missing a step somewhere - unless I can download a custom keyboard off the play store and install that.  either that or the fact that I'm using the Gapps from the PACman ROM.... but that's AOKP as well.

Are you mounting system when flashing?

Also, there is an official Google keyboard on the play store now.

That may be your issue. This rom comes with a mounting script in the updater script.

Try flashing without mounting. May help some of your issues. Most AOSP based ROMs come with that script. It is the stock ones you really need to mount the system.

Let me know if that helps.

AOKP has given me the best battery life of any AOSP ROM so far.

I think he thought you were talking about a verizon cmda phone.  This is made for the GSM version of the RAZR M.  As always make a nandroid before flashing so you can restore it afterwards if need be.  Let me know how it works.

I am on the Verizon version the xt907 but I have it unlocked so I can use it on GSM networks. that's why I would have to use the GSM fix as it adds the apn settings to the rom. if you think the one for the 905 will work I will give it a shot and let u know. thanks

I only called it the 905 version because I thought the GSM phone was called the 905. It has the GSM apns so should work fine... Would be great if u could test and let me know.

it may be easier to just change the gsm fix to work with the rom.
