A CM10.1 base is almost complete, Patch is still underway as a personal project and I don't know when it will be done.

 

10.1 base will be released either today or later tomorrow, what more can be done with 4.1.2? Our kernel is no good and CM10.0 is no longer in development for our device.

 

I had to use 10.1, for bluetooth, for HDMI, for all the issues an incomplete kernel would present us

Well $#!+ man....i got plenty to share....sharing is caring.....but seriously i understand....im more interested in the patchrom build....a smooth daily driver....if u need some skillful testers with good debugining skills....pm me

10.1 will be usable as a Daily Driver too, using 4.1.2 was a huge uphill battle because I had to do a lot of reverse engineering to get a boot.img kernel that would work somewhat correctly.

 

Our CM10 build wasn't finished and this new trend of CM10.1 and so on is absolutely f%$ked up because MIUI always lags in release a little with OS revisions, and when we have developers dropping their projects to move onto the next 'newest' source build you just end up w/ a bunch of broken semi-functional $#!+ usually; the XT926 is somewhat of an exception because our source builders are on their game completely and do great work and that's why I pushed to grab this phone, because people with a lot of talent currently hold it

The biggest issue is RIL related $#!+ on 10.1 so far, the porting 'guide' for MIUI is badly localized trash, Honestly I know I'm in my moment with being a scumbag but there is no actual documentation on porting V5 and I don't really talk to many other porters so this is all a learning experience with 10.1, my biggest mistake was using the porting guide as some kind of guideline
