There you are. I figured that you were probably as busy as I am so I didn't bother you. I had the kitkat theme pretty much done and when I flashed to test it my systemui went belly up and lost notification bar and other things. Not 100% sure what happen but I just wiped and flash back to 2.2. I figured I would hit you up after the holidays and see if you could help me. I hope you are doing well and ready for Christmas with the kids(s).

Just attempted to flash the ROM using ss3.65. ...Downloaded the rom onto my laptop, copied zip file over to my phone;s external sdcard, created a new slot and then wiped.  When I go to flash the rom, it flashes within seconds and indicates successful flash. However, when I go to reboot, I get a message in safestrap indicating no os do I still want to boot into system.  I thought it might be a bad download, so I tried again with the same result..

Any ideas out there??  Thanks in advance

Guess I should look before I ask? Is it simply checking off system in Mount option in safestrap?

So create the slot, mount the system, then flash the ROM. Under the mount option, do I leave the other default items cheeked?

Create slot, do the usual wipes, mount system and leave whatever is already checked and flash.

Thought you didn't have to Mount the system... Just:
* Wipe Cache
* Dalvik
* Factory
* System
* Reboot

I haven't either, but this particular ROM didn't flash as noted above. The only difference for me was that I'm now on ss3.65. I've heard of issues with 3.65 not mounting extsdcard and was wondering about it's compatibility with some of the previous ROMs I've flashed with 3.11

I've had no problems with 3.65 and ext sd card. I did mount system and data when I flashed this Rom using it. Don't know if it was necessary, but I know it worked.

Yep.. just mounted system and the flash was successful.  I did not mount data.  Letting the rom set a bit and then I'll continue to explore it.  The issue I had with 3.65 came into play when I wanted to restore a previously backed up rom from 3.11.  Nothing appeared in my sdcard-ext except the initial directory containing my original nandroid backup of stock 4.1.2 from when I first installed 3.11.  Now,, I was able to flash a couple of additional roms and backed them up with success, but they end up right in the same directory as my stock backup when I chose micro sdcard as backup location.  None of the other files or directories appear in the restore browser in ss3.65.

Having not had to much experience with ss3.65, I didn't know if this was all that normal.. it just didn't seem right to me.. wondering if I should just start with a clean slate with regard to ss3.65 now even though it seems to be handling most everything I attempt to do with it now.

Well, some Mounted... Others No...
SS 3.65... Works...

Just for the hell of it... What is Checked off in the Mount System to flash this ROM mind... Nothing is checked off to mount the process
