I have a problem and I can't find the answer anywhere. I rooted my VZW RAZR Maxx running JB 4.1.2, installed safestrap 3.6. Created slot 2, activated that slot,  did the wipe, then installed Blurry 2.2. It says install successful, but when I click reboot, it says "no os installed. Are you sure you wish to reboot?" What's going on, is there something I missed?

Sorry, may have fixed it. Apparently I didn't realize I needed to mount some things. Re-wiped, re-installed, now it's rebooting. I'm new to flashing roms for the Razr Maxx. I tried several on my Doid X way back when, but was happy enough with the stock Razr Maxx until Jelly Bean, it's just been doing this thing here and there where it gets incredibly laggy and slow, so hopefully this makes it better.

Still having problems. Now when it loads up, I hit start and then I get the "Please wait, this may take a few minutes" and it never gets past this. I saw in a post on here where someone had this problem and they deleted slot 2 then created slot 3 and did it there and it worked. Tried that, same thing. Any thoughts?

Install blurry again. Make sure you wipe the two caches. When it prompts to start setup, don't. Let it settle a few minutes then reboot. This time go through setup and let it settle one setup is complete and reboot again. Works great for me that way.

Thanks, I finally got it. I kept forgetting to mount everything, then I would install blurry, realize it, then mount, then wipe, then install. So I deleted the slots, created a slot, mounted, wiped, installed, and it worked. Seems to be running pretty good, smoother and less laggy than stock. One problem I ran into was that Titanium Backup gives me all kinds of errors, including one that I'm not rooted properly, and that I need to re-root with a different method. Not a big deal, I backed up app data via other means, so I don't have to restore with TiBu. One weird issue, I used Nova launcher before. I backed up my settings  a couple days ago. When I went to restore the backup, I got a weird layout that is not what I had, and a widget onscreen asking if I wanted to restore an older backup. So I went to one from last year and it worked fine. Also, I changed my background to a photo, and it seems like there's a blue hue to my homescreens. I'm guessing this is part of the rom, any way to change that easily?

So, you want Blurry that looks stock?

Maybe? I like the look of everything else, just wish the blue hue wasn't on the homescreens. I know there's a ton of settings with the rom, didn't know if that was a changeable one. Also, there's a CPU control setting, if I want to use that, do I need to do anything other than just pick one of the choices?

Just pick it and reboot. You can also change you scheduler and governor in tweakerz. The blue hue would have to be changed in the ROM itself.

Thanks. The ROM seems to be super smooth, no lag yet, except in 1 app that's always laggy(words with friends). Battery life seems like it may not be quite as good as stock but I'm not sure. The stock rom seemed to go all day easy on half a battery, but then the last half went much quicker. So maybe my battery gauge is just more accurate now, or maybe it will take a couple days for it to get better. I went with this ROM because it seemed to have the best reviews. Do most people think this is as good as it gets for this phone? My priorities are reliability, signal(which I'm guessing means Blur roms), and battery life.

Download a battery calibration app. To answer your last question, yes.

Sounds like you trashed something. You will need to use Matt's utility to reflash to stock then reinstall safe strap and then flash Blurry again. Don't worry, I have been there a couple of times. Just ask Bubba...
