Maybe you guys can help me :)

I am trying to install this rom using safestrap 3.6. I get stuck on "Please wait, this may take a few minutes". I tried install it on Slot 2 and Slot 3 but I have the same problem. I can get to the settings and stuff but it is just stuck on that screen. The kernel it says I have is: 3.0.8-gbac1cfhudsoncm@il93lnxdroid80 #1

This is a very minor complaint (cause it's all I can find)....I wish the stock dialer allowed for speed dial.

I think so. I flashed the .16 kernel using the rom compatibility tool. I generally thought that when you install a rom it installs the kernel during the installation procedure. Is this not correct? Is there a special procedure I need to do to verify/flash the kernel?

I a LONG ways from being a dev, but if I'm not mistaken.....the kernel has nothing to do with what version of Android you are running.  You update the android version completely separate from flashing a ROM.  Different ROMs are made to work with different versions of android, so if you're on the .08 version of android, and you try to flash a ROM that's made for .16, it won't work.

But in regards to the kernel, yes....it comes with the ROM.  In the case of most Moto devices, the bootloader is locked, so what can be done with the kernel is somewhat limited....though there has been progress made there, with a number of the CM based ROMs.

Thanks man.  As far as a donate link...please just donate to droidrzr or the droidrzr dev build box.  They have let me use their server and build box for all my ROMs, so they should get the donation.  Thanks.

Pro Tips

Pro tip #1

-Change your keyboard to

keyboard.  For now, don't take the Google Keyboard update.  It breaks the theme.

Pro tip #2

-Swipe down on left part of screen for pulldown menu.

-Swipe down on right part of screen for quick settings menu.

Pro tip #3
-Change lock screen "Blurry" branding to whatever you want. Using a file explorer, go to /

/eri.xml. Edit the file and change ALL (multiple areas) the "Blurry" branding to whatever. Save it. Make sure its permissions are still rw-r-r. Reboot.

How do I get Pro Tip #1 to stick with the Blue Keyboard...

Default is set at Googles Keyboard and to my knowledge no Update to change the Theme...

Go to the play store. If it doesn't say that Google keyboards needs an update then it updated. Go to manage apps and go into Google keyboard and uninstall updates.

I didn't think of that. The best clock is the one that is the three circle widget where you can change what is in them. Weather etc. I guess there is no way to theme it all out with a mass change is there?

Haven't used that app in a while but seems like I remember it had several customize options.

I've been trying this rom out for several days and I must say it's the best one yet, very smooth and lots of nice features. This has become my new daily driver, thanks!
