So I'm using safestrap 3.63, and download is fine, can't go into it and check files and all, but when I install it it says its successful but doesn't do anything and my last Roms loads

Hmmmm,

If you've gone back to Hard Stock...Meaning Not Rooted...Out of the Box from Verizon this would have done a Factory Reset for you...

 

You did go back to Hard Stock Right!

 

Matts Utility would have cleaned your System, Razr Blade to Root your Phone and Safestrap version here is 3.11 to give you Safestrap

 

Than Create a New Slot...You know the drill for that...

• Both Wipes
• Factory Reset
• System
• Flash your ROM than Gapp then Root

When Completed...

• Reboot...

I did that when I flashed 2.0. I haven't done that again, yet. It's just annoying have to wipe the whole phone and go through the root process and all of that just to try another ROM. I'm fixing to flash over stock and be fine with it. I'll have to reload anyway...

Yes!

I do know it Sucks to Wipe the Whole Phone but until you get Rid of those Conflicts Conflicting with New Downloaded ROMs you will continue to have this issue or issues....

 

Droid X day...

Once you had an Issues it would Brick your phone so you had No choice but to Wipe your Phone Clean...Period

 

Now that Safestrap is an Option...it saves you from totally beinging taken out Having option to Flash to another Slot or Hard Stock...

 

Have you moved any of your Backups to an External SD File and Deleted Multipy Downloaded ROMs?

I do know it Sucks to Wipe the Whole Phone but until you get Rid of those Conflicts Conflicting with New Downloaded ROMs you will continue to have this issue or issues....

Just so im 100% correct. you have to be deodexed to flash the settings Background correct? I'm making an attempt to stay on stock :-/

Patton my friend,

• Do you have a Lot of Saved Backups or Downloads you haven't deleted
• Or Emails in POP Server Or Exchange Server that havent been Deleted (Old Stuff)
• Did you try a diffrent ROM Slot...either One or Two
• This will Stop you from Flashing New ROMs

However,
You may have to use Matt Utilities and get back to Stock, clean out whatever Conflicts lurking within your System...Back in the Droid X Days... we called it SBF...Man what a trip that was...I think I had more Bricks then their were Bricks in the "Yellow Brick Road" trying to get it back to Stock...Wiping the Phone Clean and starting over...Thats the only way to remove any Unknown Conflicts...

But I thought you were on Blurry already...Yes! Their was another ROM you couldnt Flash either correct...

I've been on Blurry 2.2 for a couple weeks and I find it smooth and great on battery.  I think it is definitely the best version yet.  I like the ability to change the notification LED color with the new app included too.  The only thing is I keep getting those annoying "process has stopped"  messages.  Probably 4 or 5 a day.  Usually gapps, but sometimes other stuff.  I didn't have these on the previous versions.  2.2 was the first version I dirty flashed instead of starting clean so that may have something to do with it.  Not a big deal since it doesn't seem to affect the great performance of the ROM.

I finally gave in. Matted it to stock then reloaded as and now I'm on 2.2. Work I hasn't have gone through all of that. I can't tell much difference but how do you make a perfect even more perfecter? I guess we will see.

Try flashing another ROM...before you couldn't... then you can work on Perfect...
