Have you tried deleting the app & reinstalling from the market? I know this is remedial but I've found that the check for gmail sync doesn't always get checked in the google listing under accounts.Any idea on where to begin to troubleshoot it?

Are you talking about Gmail itself or something else to do with "Sync" services app? I haven't tried deleteing the gmail app completely just removing and resetting up my accounts and I do see where "Sync" is always checked. Oh, I also tried clearing all cache & data from Gmail.

Before uninstalling, I would click on 'uninstall updates'. That has fixed a bunch of problems fo rme in the past

Yep, delete the gmail app. And reinstall from the market. If its a system app, you'll need something like root explorer or es file explorer to do it after you uninstall any gmail updates that might be present.Are you talking about Gmail itself or something else to do with "Sync" services app? I think TIBU will allow me to completely uninstall it. I will give it a shot later once I reboot back into Blurry, Thanks.

So went to install ROM on Slot and got encryption unsuccessful, and it forced me to restart phone. Now it will not even allow me to enter safestrap or boot to Blurred ROM. Did I miss something?

Fixed that issue, but now I get the "please wait error". Looked a few pages back, and hoping I can fix that issue.
Edit: Slot 3 worked!

I flashed the latest launcher with the circles widget and weather and correct google search bar, but somehow lost my blue keyboard. Can somebody tell me how to restore the blue keyboard? thanks!

Have you tried a different ROM?I wish i could share all the success you guys are getting. my battery life is still non existant. After an hour and a halfof music its down to 14% and dropping quick. My phone gets really hot everytime i try and use the internet. Its getting to the point where i can only text or just not use the phone at all. I am very close to going back to my thunderbolt, which says alot.

Sucks man, I watch streaming movies for about an hour on the elliptical every morning with nothing past 80% battery usage then another 6 hours of streaming music at work and still have about 40% to stream pandora on bluetooth on my radio for the ride home. No idea what you have that is draining yours but yea hope you can get it figured out because I love this rom.

Just flashed 1.1... all my music (pandora or otherwise) go's to next track at 1:15 into song. Getting ready to flash 1.4. I don't check in here enough... lol i donwloaded 1.1 awhile back but didnt get chance to flash until now. Also, the OTA's have never worked for me.

hey guys to fix lag.. go under development options and tick the force gpu rendering, that helped me get rid of my lag.

Go into blurryzips folder while in safestrap and flash the blue keyboard.

Thanks for the info, but it seemed to fail miserably...I tried installing the blue keyboard twice in safestrap. Once with wiping, and once without wiping and I'm still stuck with the grey keyboard. I'm not understanding why it got overwritten.
