Modules don't show loaded? I edited the install-recovery.sh using root browser. What did you use to add the line and, no offense, did you save the changes? Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2

smanager and yes i saved the changes rebooted and went back in to check that they were still there.

Are you using smanager to load the scripts? The method I described should do it all automagically. Try using a different text editor to add the line & save it. I'm a fan of root browser or root explorer.
What are you using to check the gov/sched defaults?

Have you tried the clear cache & dalvik cache then proceed to Advanced/Fix Permissions and reboot?

rnh... you can always just try using the app I linked above. It does it exactly the same way I enabled init.d in the update Im working on. You dont have to keep the app installed or anything, just enable it, restart to confirm, and uninstall it. There are many ways to add init.d so it doesnt really matter which way it gets done, just as long as it works.

Forget the init.d app. Add this line: busybox run-parts /system/etc/init.d at the bottom of the install-recovery.sh file in system/etc. Forces the execution of init.d This will work to enable init.d on any ROM. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2

The apps weren't working for me, I tried this method and all of the governors/schedulers showed up in SetCPU and tweakerz after a reboot.  I'm going to reboot again now to see if they stick.

EDIT: Appears everything's in order after another reboot, this fix seemed to work for me, thanks!

Are you using the crossbreeder mod at all? If so, you'll have to edit the install-recovery.sh that it installs as well. If you don't, crossbreeder breaks init.d again. At least it did for me.

I was having problems with my settings not sticking after reboots - sometimes it worked others it didn't  - so this was a much cleaner solution for me that seems to stick after multiple reboots. Thanks!

So, I'm FAR from being a dev, but I've been following all of this init.d talk. My Razr is working fantastic, without any of this. Will I see any dramatic change by doing this?  Is it worth it?

Short answer =  yes.  Don't worry about doing anything right now though...I have an update uploading as I type...
