Just added busybox and updated it. The music player (rocket and google music players which I have) now play normally. Thank you bfederspill! Problem solved! The developers can now breath a sigh of relief. I use acid and beats; no interference there. Great job .

Thanks but I can't get the credit for that busybox fix because I read it in this thread a few posts back. I'm glad it worked for you also. We have some smart people on this thread.

Well, an annoying problem solved because it was affecting all audio. I listen to tune in radio to and from work and the skips were distracting. The developers will be pleased. This rom has become top notch in no time at all.

Yes, thank you all for testing and confirming this for us. Now thats one more issue thats been solved. Thats why we love this community, almost everyone is friendly and helpful and many of the members have insight to problems that we wouldnt have thought about or didnt have the chance to test yet. Limited access to a Razr can make deving a bit more complicated.

Like the others have said, it's simply amazing what a "BusyBox" update has done for this ROM. Incredible! Now I'm regretting only allocating a 1gb slot for this. Might have to make a backup and recreate a 2gb and nix another ROM for this one. This is proving to be my daily driver. Near perfection!

NOTE TO THE DEV AND SUGGESTION FOR THE OP: PLEASE PUT REFERENCE IN THERE AS TO NEEDING TO UPDATE BUSYBOX VIA THE "FREE" PLAYSTORE LINK FOR BUSYBOX!

I'd have to agree - updating busybox has made this ROM my DD. It runs really good now. Nice work devs/everyone!

That's probably a good idea, but were planning on releasing an update soon that will bake the busybox update into the ROM directly. Still not sure if it'll be another full ROM or an update, or maybe both.

For adopters of the current version I agree. There should be a note about it until the update is released that has in included. eye__dea will have to do it when he gets a chance.

I'm not sure who to thank for the Busy Box fix, but it's taken this ROM from something I couldn't use to my favorite ROM!!  Thanks to the devs for a great ROM and thanks to whomever came up with the fix.

Just my luck...

Well folks, it seems the new busybox update breaks my init.d module support at boot.  This means your not running any of the added governor / schedulers.

The fix for now (until I can get an update out):

-Download this free app from playstore...

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

-Turn on init.d support

-Reboot

-Use No Frills CPU or SetCPU and change governor / scheduler to Pegasusq / sio.

Sorry about this guys.  I will work on a fix asap.

Good catch and "fix" :) Maybe good to add this post also to the end of the OP install so new users can get the best experience from this ROM before you get on with an update :)

I noticed that, but I think I was geting better battery life with  hotplug/ deadline and cpu spy shows deep sleep when the screen is off. I keep the mhz at 800/300.

In my case, my battery life seemed to suffer after losing pegasusq and sio but then again I've been texting and talking to a new lady friend quite extensively the past day   so who knows....
