Hi thanks for the rom. I wonder if it's just me but after I installed the update everything is great in terms of being able to see and adjust all the govs/schedulers included in the rom. I rebooted once and things are still good. Rebooted later and then I am able to only access the stock govs/schedulers using setcpu, or trickster mod which I like better than tweakerz.

In this case however after using rom toolbox to re run the script in the init.d folder they reappeared and it's all good now.

I have the rom installed using BMM in slot 2, which I understand uses the webtop partition.

Not complaining or anything like that just a puzzling why that happens to me.

thanks again.

by the way after executing the script the govs reappeared in trickster, but setcpu still didn't see them, another puzzle, at any rate trickster works to make any changes so I use that and uninstalled setcpu, running the default setup now sio/pegasusq

Sounds like for whatever reason your init.d script didnt fire up after reboot. Check /data/init.d.loader.log and you can see the scripts that have executed. If any of the init.d scripts are executing, then the governor one should too.

Did you come from v1.0?  If so did you wipe /system, factory reset, or recreate rom slot before going to 1.1?

I absolutely love this ROM, but I'm gonna have to leave it. Lag is just too much. I have my screen set to go dark after 30 seconds, and often it will go dark, while I'm waiting for it to unlock the screen, or launch an app or.....  Very much looking forward to coming back to Blurry once the lag issues are resolved.

Some people have had good luck resolving lag issues with this app...

I'm pretty certain I tried that on the Razr Maxx as I run it on my unlocked Asus Tablet without fail but on the Razr, it reports back "kernal not supported" or something to that effect.

I could be wrong though, waiting for others to report back as I to am in the same exact boat as ddodge68

Ok. Cool.  We are trying to get this lag issue resolved.  The team is just Markus and I and I am the only one with a Razr right now.

Also, what launcher are you using?  I am using stock and not seeing all this bad lag.

I am using the launcher that came with the ROM. As for the the Lagfix app.....Laser is right.  It will not run on my Razr Maxx either.  I get "Trim is not supported on the following partitions: /data, /cache  This is either hardware or kernel issue and can not be worked around."

I am about as far from a Dev as you can get. I have figured out how to change the governor, using Trickster MOD, but I cannot figure out how to make it stick....even after re-start.  Using a different governor seems to help a LOT!!!  Can someone tell me how to make my governor choice stick?

Someone mentioned the BusyBox binaries and their effect on the Android OS earlier in this thread. On that advice, I updated the binaries to the latest version after flashing Blurry 1.1, and my lag has completely disappeared. Previously, I would experience lag when first removing my phone from the charger or unlocking my phone, and now I'm no longer seeing that at all.

You may download BusyBox Free from the Play store, and install the latest 1.21 binaries from within the app. I'd be curious to know if anyone has similar success with this. I am loving this ROM and am no longer experiencing any lag whatsoever. I am also using the default governor and scheduler.

I'm loving all the visual cues incorporated into this rom, not to mention the mods and tweaks integrated. unfortunately i dont think i can keep running v1.1 This was the first rom i tried after updating to the official .16 stock rom yesterday and the lag is killing me, battery life is not the same either. Nevertheless i will be following this rom in hopes that future updates solve these issues, really great work so far!!

If you download SetCPU, you can set the gov and scheduler and tick "On Boot" in that app.

So far, this is spot on accurate, accurate installing busybox took care of ALOT of the lag. I was just about to flash something else, thanks Chris for convincing me to stick around!

I just did this.  Lag is not completely gone, but it certainly helped a lot.  Thanks!!!

Just so I make sure I've got the right app, is this the paid app (only $1.99)?

I did notice that the busybox binaries are out of date (1.17 is what I saw after flashing). Busybox is currently at 1.21. I have realized the importance of busybox on a rooted phone in my year plus of flashing ROM's so much that I add an update of busybox directly after flashing. Busybox can cause a lot of issues..if the binaries are out of date the android OS will run like crazy looking for some things. I know a busybox update has helped with lag issues as well as battery drain..hope this helps those having issues.

Totally overlooked this original comment.  Thank you for bringing this to our attention!
