Blurry v1.1 is now live!

Fixed:

-Music issue

-Lag issue (tweaked governor settings)

-Blacked out more framework-res

*At this time, please do not Overlock on this ROM unless you change the governor.*

Fresh install please.  With these script changes I would not want to take any risks.

I did notice that the busybox binaries are out of date (1.17 is what I saw after flashing). Busybox is currently at 1.21. I have realized the importance of busybox on a rooted phone in my year plus of flashing ROM's so much that I add an update of busybox directly after flashing. Busybox can cause a lot of issues..if the binaries are out of date the android OS will run like crazy looking for some things. I know a busybox update has helped with lag issues as well as battery drain..hope this helps those having issues.

I second this request. I looked through the How To forum and couldn't find anything specific to wiping the internal SD card. I'm somewhat of a crack flasher and I feel like I've got a ton of junk left behind from SS that's bogging me down.

On another note, I'm currently using this ROM as my daily and I'm loving it. Very smooth, attractive theming, good performance. It is occasionally laggy, but nothing major. Battery life seems solid as well. Big thanks to the devs! This is really well done.

JohntheHillbilly kindly answered my question to this that I posted in the "Help" section yesterday... It's -->

Seems it's outside the Driod Razr forums, in general somewhere.

So far so good, I only did Internal for now.

Awesome, thanks! I'm going to give this a try later on. I desperately need some more space on the internal side.

Anyone able to download v1.1 right now?  The website is up, but the download link just continuously loads and does not start the download.

EDIT: Found the issue, it was being blocked at work...

Although I don't use this app, I think you need to turn off notifications in your other messaging apps.

Yeah the link is fine.  Must be those darn IT folks blocking good things.

Sorry.  I decided not to push this via the Blurry OTA updater.  It is a full ROM and not just an update.

Regarding latest V1.1 I deleted slot - recreated and started from scratch. Noticed some lag pretty bad so using SetCPU, switched Governor to smartassV2 and kept schedular sio. A bit better but still some delay with apps loading, ect... Any ideas or a better gov/sched combo to try?

Let the ROM settle for day and see if the lag works it way out.

SmartassV2 is a great gov for speed.  I used it over the weekend with some tweaks and my phone was fast.  However, it never shuts down the 2nd core, so you battery will take a hit and your android os will run high.

A good thread about governors:

We are still working on the perfect combination in our scripts.  We want an awake governor that is a powerhouse and a sleep governor that will shut down the 2nd core to conserve battery life.  Unfortunately, it all takes time to test and everyone's phone is different.

As of right now, we are just using Pegasusq as our awake and sleep governor.  It is tweaked to fire up the 2nd core when its needed.  Some lag when first unlocking your phone will be seen because it is only running on 1 core at that time.  Once the 2nd core fires, you should be lag free.

Thanks for that info. Maybe I will reset back to Pegasusq and just watch it for a day or two to see if things settle in a bit better.

No problem.  Its a fine line between performance and battery using stock rom as your base.  Things would be way easier if we could flash a kernel.
