Try setting to another governor and scheduler?

The 08governor init.d script is the modules script. It just has some more scripting for changing frequencies when screen on and off and battery limit. Edit it to your needs. You can also see the script code on pastebin in the RAZR development section.

Just curious but was this same script in the beta or is it new for the release version?

Working on an update. I think I am going back to smartassv2. It proves to have good performance without battery drain. I am working on an update now.

We are constantly working on finding what could cause any problems with the ROM or what may be best for battery life, performance, etc... Its a fine line to walk between the two and we think we may have figured out what was causing the lag. However it may take a little bit on our part to isolate exactly what the cause is and how to remedy it. Some users reported no problems while others reported lots of lag. Since all devices are not created equal, its somewhat hard to figure out the problem without being able to ask questions and experiment on the devices having the problem.

To anyone using the ROM currently, we thank you for your support and we will continue to try and provide the best ROM we can. Since its just the two of us, eye__dea and myself, things can be a bit hectic and slow when we are busy. I have school and a girlfriend who likes to take up my time, and eye__dea has his job, wife, and son to take up his. Updates may take a little while, but we are working on it.

Additionally, the donation link on the website is set up, and any donations will be split between eye__dea, and myself. My half of the donations will go to paying for the server and website. Im slowly making the website a much better place to navigate and check on the current status of the ROM. It would be cheaper to just use a webhost, but I want to provide the best we can for any users. So Im learning more about linux servers and KVM virtualization, as opposed to OpenVZ or ZEN which dont really suit our needs. As more features or things come out I will add more to the site but it takes time. I do have school and personal matters that get in the way but I am working on it bit by by bit everyday... literally lol.

Unfortunately without a Razr myself, all I can do is make some educated guesses and wait for eye__dea to have the time to test them. Anything else is all eye__deas work.

Most of the lag I show its after powering on to check a notification. The keyboard is very unresponsive, but if you wait a few sec it returns to normal speed. Also I had it lock up after I power it up to check a notification. That's the only problems I have. Love the rom so far. Thanks for the two of you guys and your time spent on it.

Great how to wipe internal SD if you go to the "How To" threads on this site. Just did it now. Direction were easy and precise.

Just curious. Do you have a specific link to this "How To"? I'm curious what to save / bring back OR delete. For some reason, I'm only running 2 2gb slots on my internal and absolutely cannot free up any more space for simply 1 more 1gb slot for testing. Would also like to start off a bit fresh in regards to my internal space.

Well I wanted to love this Rom. It looked great at first, but then all hell broke loose. My battery life is non existant. It was fully charged at 10 o clock today. Right now it is 2:34 and my battery is about to die... It went from 40% to 14% in just one 15 minute phone call. I can't use this rom anymore. Also I am getting the lag and alot of force closes. Mainly with Chrome.

Camera doesn't seem to want to work either. It will sometimes freeze in  gallery then on reboot the camera doesn't work. I think it might be my phone because these same symptoms happen on every single Rom i have ever tried. That is with Jelly bean by the way.

I've tried changing rom slots, deleting picture directories, battery stats deleting. Not sure what else. About ready to take this phone to the range and blow it up. Getting tired of having to constantly fix my android phone. It is almost not worth it anymore. I need a stable phone. Iphone is looking more and more appeasing every day and this is coming from a huge ANTI apple guy.

Sorry to hear that. I am thankful that I haven't had the problems that you have had. Good luck with your decision

I'm going to fastboot my device and start over. Hopefully this will help. Kind of a last resort though.

Do you have these issues with other ROMs? Sounds like you've been having issues for awhile...

I've been having battery issues with every rom ever since I jumped ship to jelly bean.

I second this request. I looked through the How To forum and couldn't find anything specific to wiping the internal SD card. I'm somewhat of a crack flasher and I feel like I've got a ton of junk left behind from SS that's bogging me down.

On another note, I'm currently using this ROM as my daily and I'm loving it. Very smooth, attractive theming, good performance. It is occasionally laggy, but nothing major. Battery life seems solid as well. Big thanks to the devs! This is really well done.
