Yup, now I'm starting to see the signal drops more often. Just a few quick toggles of airplane mode and I'm good to go again .

I'm assuming the changelog is something similar to what CM has posted for this build? It's running very well . *Internet High Five

@ZKK007, would you recommend staying on Dalvik, rather than trying ART? Is it really worth it?

Does the new update fix the lockup issue when going to sleep? I really want to switch back to this ROM but every time I do, After a few hours it locks up and I get frustrated and switch back

I would but you are always free to try it. You might find issues using apps that aren't ART compatible and sometimes it means you will have to reflash.

All you have to do is change the screen animation to *Fade Out* under Display & Lights. That way your screen doesn't flash when u shut it off and it locks up !

hi all-
Been away for a while -health issues, but all is back and I am ready to update this old Dec 2013 Rom. It constantly loses signal and messaging. Read lots of stuff about this Rom running as stock. If u r using it as stock pls let me know. If not, can I just reflash the newest lightly and give it a whirl on slot1? If it sucks, I can always start a new with wipes ans such. Figured I'd go small, then big:-) Pls let me know because VZ signal went from great to awful. Losses are annoying. Any suggestion is appreciated.
PS> Tried Gummy in another slot....not too shabby:-)

Hey, if I recall correctly, you're on PagePlus. After every reboot, you have to go to settings, wirelass networks and change it from ruim to NV only for your messaging.

If this message was for me, I am not a PagePlus person .

I'm on Verizon with XT912 and this happens to me too. So you're not the only one

So setting it to Fade Out did not fix this issue. Instead of it freezing showing the screen now it just freezes on a black screen. It's done this 3 times already today so even though I love this ROM and KitKat, I just have to switch away again

There is finally a solid fix for the signal loss in the 20140301 CM Nightly. I have been on the test build it was made from for 4 days now without a single loss of signal. The next build ZK does should have these kernel changes and fix the signal loss. Just wanted to let everyone know it is out there.
also, 3/4 version of JBX has merged Stargo's kernel fixes for the signal loss.
