I'm kinda having a big problem. I go to Reflash this rom and the gapps and after it tells me there is no OS installed? I'm running stock right now, but I'd love to get me feedback lol

Buck...

If you want 4.4 than your on CM11 which can be Flashed to any Slot...however, is Stock working for you Now?

  • Do you have a Backup to Restore CM 11? or CM Aviator
  • Can you get into Safestrap to Restore Or
  • As you Know CM 10.1 is for Slot 1 Only...just throwing this out there....
  • Original Post gives you the Update to Aviator CM 11... 2014-1.18
  • Gapp 2013-12.08
  • Options to use a Stable Update or Nightly...No Issues with either IMO...

Do you have a Active Slot Now or do you need to create one?

I have a backup but it won't let me restore it. I can get into SS. I have an active slot, but like I said it keeps telling I have no OS after I flash. Stock is working fine. Though I must ask a note question. I bought a ten foot charger on eBay and whenever I plug it in I can't use my touchscreen is that normal?

* Is your Backups in External or Internal
* First Backup All your ROMs to the External SD...than Delete All your Backup if their on your Internal SD
* Redo or Create a New Slot...1 GB is fine
* After...Wipe Both Caches...Wipe Factory... Wipe System...
* Flash your ROM...than Gapp 2013-12.08
* Nandroid your Stock to External... If Stock is a Solid ...Also CM Aviator if its working to your likings...
* Only use compatible charges for your phone...could cause other issues later on...

Check this out at XDA.

Folks are flashing CM11 KitKat to stock slot!

Very interesting.

A few have even flashed Gummy to stock.

I run Shiny Rom on my Galazy Nexus via CWM -it's the only system on the phone and boot up time is great.   I guess running anything as stock is faster.

I got everything working again. Thanks man. About the chargers it was meant for an LG, but said it worked for all using the same scheme.

Did you Reboot after Deleting the Unneccessaries Stuff...Look for the Larger MB Files and Delete...If you dont use these Apps anymore...

Note,

Do you have any or All ROMs currently backup on your External SD now?

Personally, Backup as much as you can on External...Your very limited to Internal...Plus you still can Restore ROMs from your External SD with No problem...

Your External SD is Jammed Full of Sheet my guess...or Both Ex / In...Maybe

Have you Powered Down your Phone...than restart....

If you have an App called Quick Boot plus... You can go into one of their choices like Hot Boot which Refreshes your UI System and should fire up your sound issues...

For me making Sound Changes I always use Media Storage seems to have No issues...

Its Bubba

Thx.  I have powered down numerous times.  Still no sound on anything.  this leads me to believe that something is wrong whatever it  is that controls sound for phone calls because other sunds are working.

Any more suggestions are appreciated. Dont want to trash the rom, but....should I dirty flash an update, and if so which one has been least troublesome?

Wouldn't hurt...your issue is Sound only...

Did you have any Interruptions Downloading the ROM?...

I've had that problem. All you need to do is wipe caches and fix permissions. Worked for me before, hopefully it'll work for you.

Need more space? Here, save yourself 6gbs of wasted space taken by the stock slot, which you probably don't use.

How to install aviator cm11 on STOCK partition - by me - on xda

P.S. It would be nice for the developer to fix/explain the dual core bug.... Running only one core, speeds up the phone... Everything gets snappier...
