I found that I need to go to wireless and networks, go to more and select Mobile Networks. In there I need to change the Preferred network type to Global instead of LTE. Why would that change on its own. Do I need it to be LTE or Global? LTE I get no mobile network available but Global I do.

Its a common bug found in all cm11 Roms for the RAZR.. Just keep it on global until the bug gets fixed.. And sad part is it isn't on their priority list either..

Just got notice via OTA updater that it wants to update my Rom to 1.0.6

I know I am using 20131221  Rom 1.05 so is there a big difference if I grap the suggested 1.06 version update.

I have never used the OTA updater, and the latest Roms I see are Jan 18, 16, and 03

Are there any problems with Jan 18th flash? Did u flash on top?

This is a note to the deveolper of Aviator CM 4.4 for the xt912, I would like to point out something that is HIGHLY ironic, but none the less, an issue.

Using kernel tuner, and disabling, cpu 1, causes my phone to WORK FASTER!!!?!?. Seriously.

By faster I mean, exactly that. MUCH snappier, everything FLOWS like its supposed to. Apps take a second longer to load, but other than that, everything is rediculously faster.

Its like i'm running stock rom lmao! Really.

I've flashed your rom about 20 times (really). I've flashed over stock, I've completly restored to stock jelly bean, installed over it, then factory restored, and installed over again.

I've completely wiped stock slot, and then installed your rom. ALL behaved the same. Sluggish at times. Annoying to a point.

So yea... disabling the second core causes this rom to go to stock like speeds..... I'm a happy camper, I'll take the 1 extra second for an app to load as a trade off. I usually touch the screen as fast as I type, and its madly annoying when the phone lags behind.

NOW, imagine, if this was fixed, and the second core actually helped improve speeds instead of hinder them!!!! (not to mention, the second core not only slows the phone down, but uses more battery!) No benefit at all.

Also, develper, should be proud, and post on the front page, that his 4.4 rom WILL INSTALL OVER STOCK SLOT, GIVING MUCH MORE ROOM ON INTERNAL SDCARD.

No problems. with anything. (I am having some odd wifi issues, however that happened AFTER I went fully stock to jellybean and reinstalled 4.4. BEFORE that, everything ran 100%)

Do note: I leave the phone in airplane mode, with wifi on only, since I use google voice for calling and texting, and mms :p

No problems, cold booting the phone. A good example, I was messing with kii keyboard, and the phone locked up. So I pressed the power button until the phone shut off, and rebooted it. Just fine. (kii keyboard issues, was a bad titanium restore fault.)

Safestrap is a pretty robust recovery now-a-days. You'll notice that if you do a complete wipe (Advanced wipe, check all) and go into file manager in safestrap (before you reinstall anything) you'll see that many files are left untouched. Mostly the stock kernel, and safestrap files, needed to chainload the new rom.

You might say, that safestrap doesn't actually wipe the stock rom then, which is wrong as well.

Example, wipe stock and reboot. Press continue at safestrap menu. Boot loop (stock rom is wiped, well everything but whats needed for safestrap). On next reboot, go into safestrap and flash custom rom. Reboot. Watch custom rom boot :p

Oh, and enjoy the 3 or 4 extra gigs that are no longer wasted.

Also, I've posted this on xda awhile ago. Also confirmed by other users.

Pretty Awesome ROM...

Just a quick note...When you see System Isnt Responding...No Worries...Hit Okay...ZKK007 know of no issues with performance...Doesnt effect the Performanace with this ROM...Absolutely not....You'll only see it when you Boot up or maybe when you Refresh...your System...

Create you Slot...None Specific...

Persuader-

Wierd!  this just began to happen:  My phone does not ring.  I see the call coming in, and can make calls, but NO ring.

Checked settings, volume and sounds -can find anything odd.Phone is not on silent or vibrate mode.

FYI: SS'd back to Stock and Slot 2-Gummy and phone rings in each of those slots.

Should I flash a newer nightly?

Any ideas are appreciated.

Have you Powered Down your Phone...than restart....

If you have an App called Quick Boot plus... You can go into one of their choices like Hot Boot which Refreshes your UI System and should fire up your sound issues...

For me making Sound Changes I always use Media Storage seems to have No issues...
