Busybox isn't really an app that you use. It's needed by certain apps for those certain apps to function correctly. Titanium backup is one that comes to mind (although I think it comes with it's own verion of busybox). Anyway, it's a container (so to speak) of many Unix utilities. Apps that require one or more of them will use them. The app you download from the playstore should really be called Busybox updater (IMHO). Some apps require a certain version of Busybox. You can use the updater to install whatever version of Busybox you want or need. That's about all it's really good for for the average user. That's enough though. You can get the right version when an app says it needs a certain version. This probably doesn't make a lot of sense but it's kind of hard to explain. Best I can do. Maybe a dev can step in and answer better. :)

Yeah that was okay I got the pro version so hopefully that should be good lol

Been running 12-21 build with minor freeze issues, and its time to move on. I kinda hate to replace what's not broken and gives me great battery results. Battery, Phone calls, txt, and searches are my main focus.
A few questions Pls?..
1. Can I flash on top of 12-21
2. Which is the most trouble free nightly. I am not absorbed with HD camera and video. A long as I can take a pic, life is good.
3. Can I flash Gummy version and give it a whirl over this rom on Slot 1. Some say yes, others say no. What say u?
4. Have u used this on stock side?
5. Can it be used via CWM as stock. (Flashed Shiney Kitkat on older Gnex as daily rom and it rocks! Would Luv to run Aviator as primary if possible.)

Thanks for any help,u may provide.

1, I always recommend a clean flash and I wouldn't flash on top of an older build. You will run into issues.
2. Hopefully someone else can answer this one for you. My XT912 is my backup phone and is on the latest build without any issues that I found in the short time I used it
3. Aviator Gummy can go on any slot. So can Aviator CM11. It is only the Aviator CM10.1 that must go in slot one. But if you use Aviator Gummy, start with a clean slot.
4. I haven't but others have. I wouldn't recommend it.
5. I haven't used CWM since my Droid X days and am unsure of its use for the XT912. Safestrap is the way to go and these 4.4 builds need safestrap 3.6x (3.65 is the latest).

Hope that helps!

Sure does! Thanks loads for such a prompt Sunday response. the 12/21 freezes are now annoying, so I guess I should move on, Z. Since u post all versions, do ya think I should give Gummy shot on Slot2? My real, issue is lack,of space on internal. UGH!

Just popping in to say I flashed yesterday's version and everything is working great for me.  I am a Page Plus 3G user, and SMS/MMS/3G data/Wifi all is working great so far.  Still playing and re-loading apps fresh.  Started in Slot 2 with clean everything, fresh flash.  Great work!

I haven't tried Gummy yet, I been only testing ZKK's CM11.. Thats the only ROM that ZKK had me test much of.. But good news tho.. And does gummy still have the 2 min wait time for network data to turn on?..

I also have not tried Gummy.  Also, I guess I spoke too soon.  MMS isn't working now but it did after the initial install.  I was running Aviator blur 3.0.3 before, and I did the *#4636.... and changed my settings to CDMA Auto (PRL) on Page Plus to get MMS to work.  I did that on this ROM and it didn't help.  When I go into about phone, look at the status, I would see my MIN and such if all was well, but it says unknown.  I'll need to dig back and see what other settings I changed.

With all 4.4 you can't change the network type, needs to be set on "Global"... Which sucks..

Got it.  I switched back to global but still no good.  I'm not sure how it worked after my first flash, but at some point during one of the reboots, it quit.

I would just factory reset/wipe and leave the network settings alone..

Yeah I set mine to that too but I have a 2 min connect time after the next reboot... 4.4 is wonderful but still needs work for sure.. That's why I'm still on 4.1.2..

The thing is everything was working after my initial flash, and then stopped somewhere along the way without me touching any of the network settings.  I only started messing with the network settings after I found MMS not working today.  I can't remember what it was set to in the initial flash.
