hopefully this works. the zip works on Gummy 4.4.2 as well :)

Thanks I tried this file before.  I notice that there was a hotspot option built into the rom.  I wasn't using that before I was using the wifi tether app.  I went back and tried the hotspot tether in the rom and it works no problem.  Is there a difference between the wifi tether app and the one built in?

Not sure about 3rd party apps.

The Zip fixes the hotspot tether built into the ROM.

I did and when I went to restore it and it showed like fifteen 0's so I erased it. Is the backups why my music won't show or my pictures??

For Sheets and Giggles...Last ditch effort :)

Check to see if maybe you saved them to your External SD Card...

Goto Root Explorer

  • Scroll to sdcard-ext
  • Then to TWRP
  • Click on it and chose Backups
  • You will see your Wonderful Zero's...Click on it
  • Those would be your Backups on your External SD Card...Are they There :) if Not, History :(
  • You should backup your ROMs to external anyways...to saves Data Space in the future
  • If you when Bowling with All those Zeros and wipe them out chances are Those Backups are ar Gonna'

Next time you back up in Safestrap you will see 2 Clear Circle...chose the one on the left by clicking on it till it turns Blue than Backup...Its says: External

TWRP Backup doesn't back-up your personal files like music & pictures. You have to back those up manually.

Hot Phone and Draining Battery is usually an App or Apps running in the background...

Widgets, are your nasty culprits in the background...

Go to Settings... Apps... Running SD...
It will be mostly System Apps...

Then to... All and Remove any Apps that requires lots of Sycing of Data that you Do Not use any longer... Start there

Dude your Battery Life Sucks to be Honest ;) but that said, if your Happy with the Set up with your Phone...Many Widgets, All the Apps you Love to Keep Who cares about your Battery Life...
Wall chargers & Car Adapters are my Life using my phone they way it should be...Most people that post 20+ hours or Days of Service is putting on a Bench and using very little...Its like watching Paint Dry...No Sheet... Now Really, who are they kidding with miss Noma for usage

Serious note,
I'm a heavy user (10-12 hours (Tops) * (Hard Usage) with Lots of Widgets going...to mention a few...Next Launcher, SMS, Swiftkey, 3 Emails Choices, Calendar, Weather, CPU, Juice Defender Ultimate...Not counting System Apps as well...I'll stop there...

Oh!!!
Cache Cleaner NG will help with Lags and Performance in addition to Busy Box Lining up the Ducts in the UI System keeping the Wind in the Sail for Ocean Vista Cruises

Now,
Lets talk about Juice Defender...Wasn't an Advocate for this App but, I'll get an Extra 2 hours Battery Life with this App...Believe it or Not

Music & Pictures should be in one of your Explorers...Search and Find...Their there... B)
