This is my first ROM, and not sure if it's just common or if something isn't working right, but my home button isn't working at all with this?

Sounds like something not working right, mine works.. Myself could use your steps of what u did, for me(us) to shed some light and try to help. Cm10 in slot one, cm11 in slot two or another slot, flash 4.4 gapps after flashing Cm11 and reboot??

Does anyone know how to fix the audio on this rom? It won't allow me to pick any ringtone or text ringtone so my phone never rings or vibrates. I greatly need a fix for this because my alarm or phone won't go off and sometimes I miss calls or even more importantly my alarm! Lol other then that it's a great rom.

Try Powering down your Phone first... Reboot... This will refresh the UI system... Try it again..
Or Settings... Sounds... Media Storage to choose your settings once completed reboot...this should reactivate your choices...last thing I would do is Reflash

My OTA files aren't updating. Connected to WiFi before trying to download. It says "Will update my ROM to version 1.0.4". I allow it to download, and it says "MD5 error - downloaded file invalid".

Is this something I need to download or can download not OTA? Thanks

Try a different Launcher... Also not so sure about compatibility with Kindle

Are you on your Phone... Try GO PRO Launcher... Next Launcher or just surf the Launcher you like...

Going back to Sounds... Make sure you Default your media to Media

* Sounds
* Phone Ringtones
* Chose your Tone
* Might ask you with 3 options
* Chose Media Storage
Back out of settings...I always Reboot after System changes... Should work
