Idk mine might have to do with apns maybe but after I set them they still don't work..

I was driving most of the night.  In a few areas, I did not have LTE, but I still had a slower internet connection.  I'm not sure if it was 3g, 1g, 2g?  but it worked.  It never dropped the signal entirely like some of the earlier builds were doing to me.  I'll test in a known 3g area soon, to verify if it works or not.

It's better than the previous builds, but it's not totally fixed yet. I should have a few hours tomorrow morning to work on it.

Thanks for the continued dedication to fix this.  Also, I just saw that they created a new thread for dtrail on XDA.  He has another 20131205 build up now that someone said 3g was working, but other bugs popped up.  Others said 3g was not... Probably similar issues.

I might have some free time at work today to flash the new nightly. Will report back later tomorrow (if available) to let you know what's up . Still running your 4.1 Aviator Blue and loving it (btw), but ready to help ya with this one!

 

[Edit/Update] - So far everything is all good in the hood. Super slick, data working (4g), camera works fine, GPS locked on quickly. Haven't made any phone calls yet, but I'm just going to go ahead and assume that it's all good in the hood. MMS worked after #*#* fix.  Will check back later this evening

When you click the phone icon is there a way to have it go directly to the dialer?

When you click the phone icon is there a way to have it go directly to the dialer?

 

I haven't had time to put my normal battery icon in there, but 1% is working. There is a circle icon with numbers in the status bar settings.

 

As for the dialer, I haven't looked into that too much yet. I don't mind the new interface.

Correct.. And use "Offline SIM Database" app from the play store to override the block accessing APN's.. And also the bug is dealing with trying to pick the right APN for it to use.. I tinker with it for like 5-10 mins then I get solid 3G..

So I ran this ROM for the whole day, and loved it. For it being in such early stages, major props to the devs. Here's my very small list of things I had issues with:

 

1. Voicemail icon wouldn't go away

2. Couldn't get any calendars to sync

 

And that's all I've had problems with so far

Flashed this last night and its very much improved! When I didn't have 4G, 3G was available, which is a huge step up from previous. Encountered the audio bug for the first time but reset my phone twice and it went away. Other than that, everything seems great!

My APNs I think are correct at 311 and 480 being on Verizon Wireless in US.

 

How are they getting blocked?

Yeah, you can use the JBX kernel.

 

The APN setting is blacked out so you can't change it without hacking into it using that app, or manually doing it with the apns.config file in /system/etc.

I already changed it through the APN file fix from a while ago.

 

HOw do we use that proggy? I just created a new APN called "verizon wireless" after following the instructions about having to manually paste file data because we are using JB. Used the data under APN search for USA Ver wireless.

 

Mine was using the APN Verizon Internet, but now I switched it to the new one I created with more data in it..

 

 

Does your latest build have anymore bells and whistles than what dtrail has put out? I hate the battery circle! Cant even read the numbers!
