The Kit Kat version runs well for an early release, I haven't tried bluetooth yet but everything else works great.  I also notice that the 3G icon does not appear but it appears that it still have it.

Bluetooth is working fine...But my experience with 4.4 is 99% of the time its LTE,.,Not 3G

I had all signals drop for a second time in a few hours. I might have to wait for a more stable build. Shows promise though.

Are you running the new nightly? How do you like it?

 

I am trying to decide whether to stay with this or go back to 3.0.9 or 10.1.3 ...

 

Sure wish it had the mods for status bar etc

About a day into cm10.11 Kk. I have to say I am liking the experience. I have noticed the lines when auto rotating and I do get the suggestion to switch SU when in Tibu.

if you don't see it, go to "About Phone" and click on Build Number field 7-8 times and it will make the Developer Options visible

Settings Force Close when ART is enabled. I think it's the add ons (CPU Control, CPU Sleeper, etc) because settings work fine on the pure CM11 build with ART enabled

 

May be like the issue with core GApps FC'ing with ART. GApps builders are Odexing some of the apps for ART compatibility though dhacker29 says in this CM commit deodexed will work fine if done right

I have been running this for two days. Really smooth for such an early build. Have seen the reported screen distortion when auto rotating. Also, I can't take screenshots. Says that the "memory may be in use". Googled the error, most common fix was to delete the sdcard0\pictures\screenshots directory and recreate manually with a file explorer app. Tried this but no change. Any ideas?

You can switch in the Developers Options menu.

Ahh....tech stuff!

I am finding trouble with settings not taking changes in the 10.1.3 ROM unless you change things then reboot. They change but don't show up in settings. For example changing ringtone.

Major n00b here (this my first custom ROM), I am absolutely loving the ROM so far and wishing I would have made the move off stock long ago! Thanks for the great work, I am feeling less abandoned right now with the move up to KitKat. One quick question: I can't figure out how to get custom lockscreen shortcuts from my slider. From googling it appears that on stock/Cyanogenmod Kit Kat or JB phones, you should be able to go to Settings - Lockscreen, and then find the option there. However, my Lockscreen settings page appears much more bare-bones, I only have the options to toggle "Maximize Widgets" and "Widget pager".

 

Is there something wrong with my install or am I just not looking in the right place? Lockscreen functionality was the main reason I made the jump, so I would really appreciate any guidance.

Enable "Widget Pages".  Then exit and turn your screen off so it locks.  When you turn on the phone and see the lock screen, scroll to the left and you will see a + symbol.  It will then pop up your list of widgets to choose from.  You can select and hold the page to drag it to the right to be your main lockscreen.  You can, on some ROMs, delete the original page that is now to the left.  Also note, that the page to the right is the camera shortcut.  "Maximize Widgets" will basically open the widgets automatically, then you have to hit the lock button to get the slider to unlock the phone.

The lines when auto-rotating looks to be fixed in the 11/25 build.
