I am on the Stable release and just noticed that wifi hotspot is not working for me. Anyone else?

EDIT: let me provide a bit more, the hotspot lights up but I cannot get anything to connect to it. tried just about everything other than reflashing....

Wipe cache & dalvik in safestrap recovery. Also, may want to fix permissions while in there, to. Restart, wait a bit, profit (hopefully)!

Make sure they were saved as .png files. I will make a flashable zip file at some point today to make it easier Any recommendations for the splash images?

Used the laptop, and the images were all saved to spec. Permissions corrected, to. Weird thing; I now get what looks like video feedback/pictures-into-infinity display in safestrap. Any clue? I am getting closer, I'd guess. Images look fine to me.

No worries, dude. I figures you had other fish to fry, so did I...hence the delay in doing it the 'right' way. Yep, totalty stock slot. Tried using them before up-scaling them, to. Same effect, but smaller images. Here's what I did; a basic save to desktop, opened up each image individually, resized it up to 540x960, re saved the modified image as PNG (the default format actually), transfer to SD card via USB cable, overwrite original images, & fixed permissions.

kindly check this my core 1 is not working at all I noticed it today I changed the governors but no usage .... I think it will make more battery drainage in screen on condition I think so... what this really happens ?

You have to enable them before you can get to them.

Go to System Settings, About Phone, and scroll down to Build Number. Tap the Build Number box 7 times. After the 3rd or 4th tap you'll start to see a countdown of the number of taps remaining to turn on Developer Mode, and on the 7th tap, Developer options will be available on the previous menu.

Reboot.... see if that helps......and/or see if you get 4g on stock ......

It could just be a temporary carrier issue.....

By phone info, do you mean the selection from the hidden menu you get by dialing *#*#4636#*#* ?

If not, try dialing that, select phone info, then try switching between LTE/CDMA (auto prl) and LTE/GSM/CDMA (auto prl).

CM10.1 seems a lot less forgiving of poor 4G LTE signals and will hang on to 3G signals longer than it should. In a good reception area, though, 4G performs very well. I expect it will get figured out at some point.

Hmm, dunno. Did you boot back to stock to see if 4G still worked there? Someone previously suggested a VZW issue in your area. Unless you have another 4G phone handy for comparison, I'd try switching back to stock temporarily.

Just tried out the screen shot function in power menu + the power and volume down button.  Neither one work, anyone encounter that issue?  ***Phone did a hot reboot and now SS is working, oh well I'll just leave it as that.***

Seems this might be a known bug on all CM build

 

The Hardware Key change does not work.  I changed the search to recent app and it still function as search, also updating the .kl file from SEARCH > APP_SWITCH does nothing also.

Its the Power Button/Volume Dn at the same time..might be a little finicky... But here's a pic...it works

You shouldn't be having that many issues if so Reflash or Clean Slot 1...

These are Beta and not going to be perfect but Damn Close...
IMO...most issues that I've had was me missing steps...just me

I just had my 4G signal drop out after tethering and a wipe cache/dalvik cache didn't fix it. What I had to do was turn my WiFi on and then 4G magically came back! I wanted to mention this just in case anyone else experiences this
