the widget thing wasn't a big deal, but i was surprised that the widgets disappeared - i had assumed they were part of Apex, not the homescreen.apk stuff - interesting but no big deal - already put it back the way it was. Yeah, the white on white is exactly as you described, no big deal - there are other ways to do it...great job man - so far so good (again). Thanks for your efforts!

I wiped cache/data forgot to wipe Dalvik and my notification bar is gone as well.

i did NOT wipe dalvik the first time and retained my notif bar - i went back, re-wiped cache and dalvik and i still kept my notif bar...odd that others are experiencing this!

Yea my notification bar is gone yet I wiped everything. Not /system of course but data, cache and dalvik.

I had hicks' theme flashed if that makes a difference...

I donwloaded another file and flashed over without wiping data. I only wiped cache and dalvik. Still missing the bar. I guess Ill restore the backup and follow instructions

Hmm... I think I may pull the file for now. Three of you'll tested all day no issues... now people losing they're notification bar! Haha... let me know what you get trikotret....

Ok I can confirm that the issue is the data wipe. The latest update has the 1% mod included. Problem is it causes systemui to crash unless it is flashed after a first full boot. I have removed the link for the night. I will address the issue tomorrow. For those currently without a status bar. You've got two options. #1 restore from nandroid. #2: as I just did to confirm this working. Reboot to cwm. Wipe data&cache. Flash the alpha. Reboot. Allow the phone to boot completely. At this point you can stay there or reflash the latest BETA without wiping data!!! Data wipe is definitely whats causing the issue.

I can confirm that wiping data is the problem. I restored my back up. I wiped cache and dalvik cache and flashed the new update. My status bar is back

Ill be digging into the issue to trt to find resolution. Until I do a simple fix will be needing to boot the rom before flashing a theme or 1% mod...

Excellent question. I would defer to X for that info... Probably just need the beta...I think the base was an earlier stage of the beta. But I would wait to hear from X
