Hello everyone, I am having a huge problem. I am using a xt926, unlocked. I decided to make a nandroid last night before I went to sleep because I flashed a new Rom and set everything up how I prefer it. Well I passed out while it was backing up, my phone stayed in twrp all night. It has plenty of charge and the led light turns on when plugged in, but my screen won't turn on. I have tried anything I can think of, the normal power + vol- combo, power + both vol, power + vol+, only both vol buttons... taking out sd card and sim card and trying to reboot. Nothing is working. While I am trying to reboot and the phone is plugged in, the led light flashes really fast, like it is continuously trying to reboot but it can't. I need any help I can get.

I held down power + vol- then after holding a while pressed vol+ also and held all three a while. Just tried holding down power + vol- then letting go and holding all 3, nothing.

was in on or off the charger over night?  I did that once before and it wasn't on the charger. It drains the battery completely. You may just need to leave it on the charger for a while.

I don't remember if I had it on charger or not. I downloaded and set up adb then ran adb reboot and the phone rebooted.

I have a similar problem. Rooted, that went fine, then tried to install Rom and something went wrong along the way (think I forgot to unlock Bootloader first but not sure). Phone won't go into anything but Fastboot. I'm able to get into Recovery but I've already tried wiping data that way. Also tried RSD and DROID_RAZR_HD_Utility_1.21. Very new to this, sorry...any help?

Thanks for the reply, however, I did make sure it was charged before trying either of the two. RSD went through all the steps without an issue, and even said pass, but the device still won't leave fastboot, and option 1 on the utility wouldn't even start to run for some reason

What did you unzip the utility with? Some people say some programs don't unzip files completely. Try winrar to unzip and see if that works

Also.... Are you running windows 8 perhaps?.... If so (once extracted) run as administrator.... It may help...

Thanks again. I unzipped using winrar and then opened the utility, selected option 1, and it froze. It's done that every time (droid battery is OK and drivers were installed so its not that). Also, I'm on windows XP if that makes a difference

I'll throw this in the ring also.  We switched back to the razr for the busy, not over spring season and now in another rain delay was going to activate my razr maxx hd which was turned off laying on the shelf.  It is being beligerant and won't charge or boot.  I believe it is deceased at 3 months old.  I've tried hard reset many times and black hats adapter and am looking for ideas.  unlocked running pac man at last visit.  Normally when the hd is off and hooked to the charger it boots, now no. :-(

fastboot also unavailable

It could be that the battery is completely depleted.... try leaving it on a wall charger and untouched for about an hour... see if there is any change.....

this is true - if it is completely dead it takes a bit of time before it will even register that its charging.

well I ended up sending it back for a replacement.  received certified like new with label on the back mr4.  I got around to trying to unlock, but they must have fixed it to prevent.  Can you use Matt's utility to go back to .6 from .9?  Or won't it do any good.
