So whats new on the DRU1.6? I have 1.5 and was just curious before i downloaded it... I was using gummy 1.2 for awhile till it gave me data drops all the time, so i switched to black widow and pretty mich had the same problem, so i switched back to abysm 1.1

You need a torrent client running such as utorrent. Install that and it will pull the files for you

For a few weeks the tracker links were dead? Not sure why or if that was the underlying issue. But, everything is seeding fine now.

Nope I would say most of them are NOT filled with viruses. The benefit is this... The old school method of downloading 1 file from one source with many downloaders makes for... you guessed it a waaaaay slow download for everyone. Torrents break the file into tiny pieces and allow multiple people to be both uploading and downloading at the same time. Once you have a small piece you can uploaded that to someone that doesn't have it. So the more sources you have sharing makes everyone's download faster.
There is more to it in fine detail but that is it in a nutshell.
