I don't suppose anyone here really knows, but do you think we have received the last OTA from Motorola/Verizon for the original RAZR? It would be nice if we could have 4.2.2 on an OTA based ROM, because the AOKP ROMs I've tried have some issues, like lack of Dock support. My contract is up in November but I expect I'll keep my RAZR for at least another year since it does what I need and I haven't even explored all it can do.

I seriously doubt there will be anymore updates. We were lucky to even get Jellybean. They have their newer devices to support not to mention the work being done on the x phone.

I agree with PRS, I really don't see the XT912 getting any other updates, and yes it was lucky to have gotten JB in the first place.

Not really lucky that lucky... The support window is 18 months and the Razr was well within at the time. But no, I don't think there will be anymore OTAs.

I must agree.... we have seen the last update.... at least IMO.
Razr is at the end of life as a supported product.

We were LUCKY to get ICS to those of use who remember that drama. I think that fact that 4.1.2 surfaced and as "quickly" as it did (compared to ICS)...it will be a MIRACLE if we see ANY 4.2.X. But....I suppose one NEVER knows.

I doubt we will get any more ota's either. I think the devs r even starting to move on. I'm surprised cm10 is still being worked on but I'm thankful for it .gif)

This was the last udate/OTA that the razr with get, if you go to Motorola's web site they list all devices and when they get there new OTA. JB 4.1.2 was the razrs last one!

Hence the need for our developers. Great strides have been made on Roms and right now CM10.2 is 4.3 Jelly Bean based and running very well. Expect great things down the road as far as ROM development for goes. It ain't dead yet!!!!
