Not that simple. Each file has a "tag" when it moves about Moto's systems. Especially the sensitive ones. If a file escapes the system(leaks) all moto has to do is download the leaked file and check the tag, I.e. the person who leaked it.. then the fit hits the shan....

Hey it sounded good..

But in all seriousness I remember reading this back in my Droid X days..The outcome of that thread ended up stating basically there is some security reason that such files/tools have not leaked. There is more than likely a risk of legal consequence for the person leaking said files.

the.74 was horrid for me i lost signal all the time battery was s... with the .84 is almost flawless would be flawless if we had a way back but i am really not that worried someone will come up with a fix for u guys/gals

Same for me. I saw a HUGE difference in stability and smoothness. I went back to GB after a day or so on the original leak but .84 leak is solid!

im still running .75 have not had any problems on it besides the occasional freezing after taking a pic and trying to view it too quickly. Is the new bbuild really worth installing with no real answer as to whether or not u will be stuck on it? I have the files just see no need to flash them.

I am absolutely loving .84 When I was running .75 I always had the urge to go back to GB but now I have no urge to run anything else. Some customization options would be nice but I can live without for now.

It's Not a matter of urge, it's lack of option. LOL I love .84 it's super solid!

No its not worth flashing the new build IMO. Personally neither are worth it, better off sticking with GB for now until official hits. There are issues with all the ICS builds at this point still. Sure some have luck and others don't on any of the builds but at the end of the day its not finished software and has bugs/issues. Its also a total waste of time IMO for devs to put any effort into any of these builds yet. By the time ICS does hit they will be back to square one as I'm sure Moto will throw some BS in the build just to drive everyone crazy and forcing them to start over once it releases. Just my .02 tho

LOL... while yes it is a waste of time. I'm stuck on .84 for now so I'm gonna have fun with it! If you're on .75 I would stay there! Its easy to get back on the upgrade path from there.. as for us on .84/.85... only time will tell right now.

Uh-oh, my wife just got a razr today for her birthday. Prolly gonna root it & download the forbidden dessert app to it to check for updates higher than 85. More than likely not gonna tell her what I'm doing. Might even get herz stuck on 85 too, just for gitz & shigglez!

How do you think she'd react if I said "Oh, btw honey, here's your brick back"? Iz it not bad enough that I flash all this stuff on my company issued phone. Gotta brick the wife's phone too. She knows ima crackflasher, she should've known better, itz all her fault!!

the only thing getting on my nerves is i cant flash anything....lol but its a sweet rear end build for sure....great batt life, data hasnt dropped once anywhere, and 4g on my phone for the first time since i got it .....(that last one might not be build related....but i like to think it is....) lol

ya i think there is a huge difference between the .75 and the .84 builds i am personally happy and content with this build whether or not i can get on the official ota is cool with me
