Let the bricks bitches be the first to test it lol

I'm soooo sensitive.

[ 43V3R IC3'd on .84 ]

you got that right.

I still say we fb to the developmental build sextape released on XDA. I am trying to get him to mirror it somehow or at least torrent it. I bet this will be fastbootable considering it should have the latest fb system and all the brickers should not get the cdt.bin errors on this flash.

Just an assumption though.

Don't do it. If that file is for a developers phone it is a given it will brick your consumer unit. Believe me I've own actual developer devices directly from Moto and they DO in fact use DIFFERENT files then a consumer unit. I have a D2 sitting on my desk at home that is hard bricked and nothing can be flashed to it because I used the wrong file on it when I had mulitple units some that were unsecured and others that were secured

I've never had to return a rooted, hacked phone. I've always seen this warning but has anyone ever heard of an instance where this has happened? Personally i have not heard of one since i started flashing old winmo devices.

yes it can happen I've had contact with ppl that got hit with full retail on there bill about 2 months after having it sent back in for replacement. Doens't always happen but it can. Personally I thjik is has to do wit hthe tech working on it and if they can save it or not once they get it back

Lucky, lucky me. I flashed the 84 build and like a complete retard tried to fb back to 181. As we all know I soft bricked. I got the system back and everything ran great til today. It turned of and would not come back no matter what I tried. So I decided to take it into a Verizon store to and tell them the 181 caused the problem. They said oh yeah that's been happening all week. I will have a new phone in the mail tomorrow. I have learned my lesson on leaks. MSN it's hard bring a crack flasher. At last I'm getting a new phone out of it.

This type of crap is why we don't have an unlocked bootloader. Thanks

I dont understand something and i am now slightly confused. If i go into fastboot mode it says 0A.66 and i'm on 6.14.84. I just came across

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

which says 6.11.744 and .748 are 0A.66 and 6.12.173 and .181 have a 0A.6C. Does that seem right??? If that were True, i should be able to bounce back to .744 or .748, no?

I was on the first ICS leak last wk. I fastbooted my Maxx back to GB using the 173 fastboot file and then took the 181 OTA via the network. I just looked going into bootloader and mine is showing up currently as 0A.6C I have not and will NOT flash any of the current ICS leaks tho so I couldn't say what it is after that

You're exactly right. We all pay for the action of others who won't take responsibility for what they do and when they "f**k" it up they want someone else to absorb the cost. Nothing is free...nothing. It's nice to get a new phone, but not at the expense of others.

curious which build is do you have installed? And also what was running on the device before you flashed the ICS leak.

A little confused by the post. Should we not be installing this? Or is the warning just that we cannot fastboot "down" again?

If we shouldn't be flashing this, is there a more stable way to obtain 4.0 for my razr?

To obtain this, I just need to be on .181 stock, yes?
Also: can I downgrade back if I decide to?

Thanks,

I am on .84 per the OP instructions. I was on the .181 soak test files prior to loading ICS

If you really want ICS your only bet is to use the first leak which is the *.75 file. The new leak *.84 or *.85 will take you off path with no way currently to get back on path.

No you can't go back .If your phone is soft bricked from trying to fastboot back to GB after installing the new ICS leak this will get you back up and running.

Yes you need ot be on 181 to update to the 84 or 85 build. However my suggestion is DO NOT flash it as there is NO WAY to go back ( ie downgrade)

I'm just going to wait then. What are the chances of the real ICS for razr releasing May 17th? (according to "leak" from Verizon)

With the .75 file can I downgrade off of it to than receive the real ICS when it releases?
