Guys I would not attempt this... Either he's pulling your legs or was one lucky SOB when he fastbooted. People claim they have successfully fastbooted back so I'm not going to call him a liar but it does seem a tad fishy lol

Do you have apex installed as a system app? Did you freeze / delete the blur launcher? Was wondering about this. I much prefer apex but definitely don't want a bootloop to soft brick me.

Apex was not installed as a system app. I did freeze the moto home launcher. No bootloops, several resets.

Has anybody truly been successful at going back???? I want to try to get back badly but also don't want to deal with the brick situation.

Lol i used DROID razr ics compatible utility. It flashed everything normally for me. I flashed from 75 to. 173 then updated to 181 did the 84 then found out about 85 n fastbooted back to 173 ,181 then 85 lol

People want to go back because some stuff just doesn't work yet...and matt himself bricked yesterday with that utility so I've gotta call BS here

Maybe the ability to fast boot back has to do with the original installation method? He said he used the *****cake app to obtain/install the leak so maybe that's why reversion worked. How many others had a similar experience because they used a similar method? Is *****cake the key?
