Sounds like a Liberal to me... I screwed up but it's someone else's fault... I am ENTITLED to have someone else fix MY screw up.

Maybe you should sign up for one of those government subsidized phones... 250 minutes a month for free! While you are there get in line for some free government cheese to go with that whine!

See thats the main problem, noone ever reads the whole post. People are too annoyed with having to read 24 pages of post but then complain when things go wrong. I have seen many a person say that they should not have to read the entire post to see whats wrong with a build. I dont normally say much in this forum but i will say that, anyone with a bricked phone has noone to blame but themselves. It is clearly stated that you take your own risks when installing ANYTHING, and if you didnt know that you should not be flashing anything in the first place. I read the ENTIRE thread of ANY ROM before i even think of flashing it. I do not personally want to spend another 600 on a RAZR so i can take an hour out of my time to make sure that i wont have to waste 600 on a paperweight. And just for fun, the post below me is a prime example. He posted this almost 20 pages into the post. CLEARLY hasnt read the post. But hey thats my rant and im done. You messed your phone up its your fault. Just by ROOTING your phone you are taking yourself into a hole that you could possibly never dig out of.

When I had my Droid 1 I read EVERY POST in all the forums for 6 months before I was satisfied that I was ready to root and start flashing ROMs. Half of these users that are complaining or having problems start out their posts with "I just got my Razr yesterday and...."

Lol... OTA's aren't always 100% safe either. Its the nature of the beast. Problems with software/firmware happen! Like I've said and will say again.... no one was forced to try anything! I was working on things for the previous leak... I flashed the newest. I attempted to flash back. I am holding a brick! Does anyone else see a common denominator there? To be clear if I'm not already... lol. Each person chooses what to do for themselves. If you are holding a bricked phone... just as I am... you brought it to that point. Call it what you will... but the disclaimers are always there. If nothing else but a warning that things can go wrong. With all of that said though... I'm hoping that my understanding that this whole process had been tested... but wasn't .. isn't true!!!! Even though you can obviously tell which side of the fence I'm on, there are plenty of people out there that really don't know the what could go wrong. So they are relying on the word of whom they are looking up to for advice. As lame as that sounds its true! If a stocks broker were to tell you every single time that there were risk involved and every single time you made a trade you made a ton of money... then all of a sudden lost everything in one deal... you would be upset!!! I honestly think this is more of what you're seeing. They didn't know the true risk... some are stuck with a brick until a fix is found(if its found) so people are upset. Should there be finger pointing? Absolutely not!!!! Is it going to happen? Every single time something goes wrong! That's human nature....

I downloaded the leaks but im too scared to install them now after listening to everybody. I have the first release of the full version of the razr restore file of gingerbread thats the same exact version that came preinstalled on the razr. Does anybody have problems going back to that version from the leak? I installed the first icecreame sandwich leak and returned to stock with no problems at all. I dont know if others have the same version of the full restore file i have or not, and what version of razr. I have the first razr release not the maxx. Im impatient too for the Motorola release to be pushed out, its hard to wait. I think i read it will be released around the end of may. You cant install any of the ics relases from gummy, dt, droidt3ory or others comming from the leaks, i tried that and the roms installed but when i booted my razr all i got was black screen and had to return to gingerbread usind rdlite.

Did I say anything about insurance? I've never purchased it, on any device.

My bad. I guess I shouldn't have assumed. Never crossed my mind that having hundreds of dollars to throw around was so common, especially when it's all for a new ROM. I guess it's all about priorities, no?

Like many others, i am currently stuck on. 84. I take full responsibility, i will probly end up bricking from trying something stupid, and again i will take full responsibility, and if my blade dies i will not use insurance i will eat a few hundred $ (ebay/ not 600 for a new one) and after all is well, or we recover from this, i will do it all again. I hold only me and my stupidity to blame.
