Can anyone tell me the bootloader version from the .75 leak?

For example, Mine currently is 0x0A74 according to MotoDev Studio.

It was the previous version... 0x0A61 I think...

and yes... to answer the question that we're all thinking is that our ICS (0.84/0.85) bootloaders are likely incompatible with our GB fxz files... if that's not lame I don't know what is.

except of course Moto for being mind control beotches and causing these shenanigans in the first place!!

Sorry dude. Yeah you're SOL for now in terms of root or reverting. Thankfully it really is sweet. It's been very stable and fluid for me for the last 24-or-so hours. No worries. I'm confident that with enough time we'll find something.

There will likely not be a root method released for this since it's a leak. Most likely is that we will have a fastboot method first, and since you can preserve root through the upgrade process it sort of makes it pointless.

Whatever you do DO NOT try to fastboot ANYTHING until it's confirmed working. Using either RSD or Matt's utility or other manual method. Let the experts test it first. It will be front page droidrzr.com news when the fix drops.

Thanks again, base2. You guys are as good as any I know at keeping things as easy as possible......and I will heed your advice and warning. Good luck testing. I'll keep my eye open for that "front page" story. :-)

Yeah man no problem. Glad to clear stuff up. Hopefully some progress will be made within the next few days. Thankfully this happened on a weekend lol

Just out of curiosity, since it looks like im gonna be on .84 for a min, does the speedhog script or deodexer work with this? I dont really want to push my luck too far with the problems that have arisen, but as a crackflasher, I have an uncontrollable need to change something! And thanks to all for the entertainment that is this thread!

As long as you use Voodoo to delete the su-backup file you can restore it.

I agree. It really amazes me that people are still wanting to flash this after all that has been said here. There are a few that have given reasons and understand what's going to happen if they do. But to the people asking for fastboot files, there are none. If you flash this you will NOT be able to fastboot back for any future OTA updates at this point. If you try to, you will brick. Read the previous posts and you will see this. If you don't have the money to buy a new phone at retail price then save yourself the time and trouble and stay away from this.

See thats the main problem, noone ever reads the whole post. People are too annoyed with having to read 24 pages of post but then complain when things go wrong. I have seen many a person say that they should not have to read the entire post to see whats wrong with a build. I dont normally say much in this forum but i will say that, anyone with a bricked phone has noone to blame but themselves. It is clearly stated that you take your own risks when installing ANYTHING, and if you didnt know that you should not be flashing anything in the first place. I read the ENTIRE thread of ANY ROM before i even think of flashing it. I do not personally want to spend another 600 on a RAZR so i can take an hour out of my time to make sure that i wont have to waste 600 on a paperweight. And just for fun, the post below me is a prime example. He posted this almost 20 pages into the post. CLEARLY hasnt read the post. But hey thats my rant and im done. You messed your phone up its your fault. Just by ROOTING your phone you are taking yourself into a hole that you could possibly never dig out of.

If I am already running the 4.0.3 leak from March 26th, is there a way to get this one? Would I be able to factory reset my phone, grab the latest OTA update, root and flash this?
You're obviously not a crack flasher. There's always a ways out and the majority flashes once anything new is available.

Yeah, that was my thoughts, since I'm already tap dancing on eggshells being on .84, I'm not too keen on break dancing. I'll just hang out in the corner til a fix is available, otherwise I'm gonna find a way to break something and get pissed at my own stupidity. Oh well, its running and doing well, I got nothing to complain about! Watch out for snakes...

What if the new bootloaders are going to have a future unlock tool from Moto ;)

And just to comment on all the hoopla, as a crackflasher, I already know I'm most likely gonna do something dumb and softbork my phone. But everything I've tried has always come with a warning, just the simple act of rooting causes reprocussions. I have fun doing this, and without the internet, 99% of us would have no idea what was going on and be completely stoked with any and all phones, sure as hell beats a backpack phone! But I digress, keep up the good work and well all find a way to make things work!

People are asking or commenting on battery. Seems pretty good to me at least for my usage pattern. The drain curve is close to 173.

Sucks in comparison to Black Widow though.

It's called the Razr developer edition.

Nah it's called a lie lol. Moto will never unlock bootloaders that are on devices sent out to the masses.
