under storage it says, App Storage Available space 2.73 GB
Internal Storage Total space 8.00GB, Available 7.77gb
and the phone came with a 16GB SD card

I was just wondering if they gave me a RAZR with a big battery.........

you have a Maxx I'm sure. The missing approx 5Gb is what is used for Webtop and all the other internal OS stuff on the device. IE device get just under 3Gb for ap installing from maket and stuff, 8Gb os actual internal storage space. All the rest is like I mentioned. So the total internal mem is 16GB but not all usable for the owner of the device

edit. I did do a backup with Razr Bootstrap on the 84 leak, then I tried restoring the old leak and F'ed up

I have a nandroid of .84 but don't think I'll try to restore it now that I'm back to .75

Just to make it clear though one shouldn't even try to restore a backup of .84 they have made. That be right?

OK if someone wants to try this they can I fixed a friends RAZR with thus method.

1) uninstall all your drivers + MotoHelper.
2) Reinstall driver's and reboot pc.
3) Get the 173 system.img and the grfs, aka webtop from 173 fastboot files as well.
4) Open a cmd window on PC, where you put the two files. "Make sure you have the moto-fastboot files".
5) Put phone in AP fastboot mode.
6) Type moto-fastboot.exe flash grfs grfs.img
7) Type moto-fastboot.exe flash system system.img
8) Type moto-fastboot.exe reboot

This will flash the 173 system and webtop on your phone. You will still have the ics kernel and radios. After you boot up now try running RSD Lite, the 173 package, with the swapped out XML file. You can get all the stuff needed to do this in my thread "How to unbrick your RAZR, go back to stock"

Like I said my friend got it to work I don't no if it 100% will but its worth a shot.

I'm currently out with my family visiting a family member in the hospital so I have no access to a PC.

All DEV'S are looking at multiple ways to fix this issue. I can assure you that we are doing anything we can and reaching out to all resources we have. Thus is are main priority, and hope to have a fix as soon as we can. I thank the kind emails I have received from some of you, with your support. I think they thought you were talking about a backup of the first leak? Using that to restore back to get on path.

Oh no talking about restoring a backup of 84 while on 84 leak. Should have been more clear about that.

Still not going to chance it anyway. Was just curious is all.

I gave it a shot once with no luck. But I was sleepy so I'll take a nappy and try again later to make sure that I did it correctly

All bs aside from this thread and what was tested or not is a load of garbage at the end of the day. Fact is if ANYONE chooses to use a leaked file whether tested or not you are doing so at your own risk, PERIOD. It just makes me sick this day and age how NO ONE seems to want to accept ANY respondsibility for the actions they did. Yet again this is a prime example of why I'm the lone wolf on DR who has never agreed and never will agree with posting these types of files because of this exact problem. Not my site tho so i don't make the rules, that is left to others. Bottom line is if ppl choose to use a leaked file they have to ACCEPT the fact they are pressing there luck and it is NO ONES problem but the person flashing the file as i've said. Its not Motos, VZW, any dev, online forums...etc. You choose to play you may end up paying the price.

The reality is 100 ppl could have tested this and all was perfectly fine for moving forward or backward using fastboot files. However that DOES NOT mean the the 100 and 1st person won't have a problem. I've bricked many phones over the yrs and it is what it is at the end of the day ( never returned one either I ate the cost or sat on it til a fix existed). Was my choice to mess with something I obviously shouldn't have. But to come here and make these types of comments like this was planned, or you are owed something to know devs are working on a fix is crazy. Its no ones problem to fix someone else mess up, folks knew the risk from the get go whether something was stated or not. And to think a fix will happen any time soon is living in a pipe dream to be honest IMO. We went down this same road with the Bionic leaks and many of us were off path and stuck. Yes it was finally fixed and figured out but it was months, not hrs days or even just a few wks. Are there ppl working on it YES that is a given, but when a fix will be found is anyones best guess if ever.

Yea bro... More like I fully understand the risk in flashing anything. Now if you actually read correctly my gripe is with the fact that if I had known I could not revert back I would have weighed my options carefully. The main thing that kept me off the first leak was the lack of flash. You're one of those I need to be right people so ok, feel good homie you're right. I am just mad that it still isn't being blown up how it should, no warnings, but then again you read all that and just chose to argue on your own point to feel good didn't you? I just want some type of big warning, and for people to say hey we are at least trying for you. I already swapped my droid out and are back on eclipse which is where I should have kept it originally. Thank you for not understanding the point but feel good, cuz you're right playa.

You'll need root to place files in the root directory. Hicks has thorough instructions but realize you can't get back to stock after installing the leak (for now).

That's the thing, I just express my frustration with the lack of information. Someone decided to be dumb and disrespect what I was saying. Before I swapped out my phone I ran it into the ground trying to do a bunch of crazy stuff to fix it. I didn't demand anything. The lack of reading on the individuals part led him to believe I was demanding. I simply said I won't support unless they warn people on the situation. A demand would be saying you better do this now in a threatning manner. One person stopping support effects the site in a whole in no way, unless it does then maybe somebody needs to think about that. I have a right to my opinion as anyone else. Notice how I directed this towards the person that disrespected me first? I will not troll or do anything crazy, just expressed my opinion. If you're gonna call me the internet police then expect a tap back. Though I know what I have to do to stop an argument with someone like you to begin with, you're right. There, you won so feel alright that you changed my perspective on the situation playa.
