Well boys if you flashed the leak you have made a marriage contract with your phone. You will never get another ICS update.

Me too. This leak is running so smooth...much smoother than GB .181 I had on it before installing the leak. No battery issues, no data issues, good 3g and LTE...all around a great leak. I guess I'm fortunate not having any issues what so ever. I just I could root it though...loss root during the installation even though I had rootkeeper. Oh well.

If you want root actually do this. Voodoo hasn't worked for me for a while to restore root.

ICS fastboot files will most likely fix this but who knows when they will be leaked out.

That is fine with me. So far this leak is good. I dont wan't to go back to Ginger even for a second. Hopefully when there are major upgrades (radio, kernel, etc) we will have working ICS fastboot files.

So I haven't had my first cup of coffee yet...

Yesterday, before this thread started, I loaded .84 by flashing back to 148 then ota to 173, and again to 181, then loaded the leak with es and rom mgr, not rsd.

To quote South Park, I didn't do any cheesing.

The problem as I read it is that I will not be able to load another rom for awhile by any means? That about sum it up?

If so, c'est la viz

Ya for now you are stuck. Not a bad build to be stuck on though.

That'd about cover it. You ain't flashing jack for a while... atleast not until we have ICS Fastboot files. Looking at this install script for the update, I think p3 is our best hope at this point there's nothing to say that the release version of ICS won't have different CDT than the leak and then we are really F'ed until P3 or someone finds a way around it.

Where can I obtain fastboot files in case I need to revert to an older firmware?

Also: This tutorial warns to disable bootstrap or safestrap before trying install. How should I do this? (I have bootstrap installed)

Thanks,

If you are asking this... you shouldn't flash this leak. People are bricking because odds are you CANT fast boot back if something goes wrong. I personally haven't tried and won't be flashing anymore mods themes or anything until... well who knows lol. Although I will say DTs script works great and so does the deblur debloat mod. But again... if you forget to wipe you may end up sh**img bricks

I agree. It really amazes me that people are still wanting to flash this after all that has been said here. There are a few that have given reasons and understand what's going to happen if they do. But to the people asking for fastboot files, there are none. If you flash this you will NOT be able to fastboot back for any future OTA updates at this point. If you try to, you will brick. Read the previous posts and you will see this. If you don't have the money to buy a new phone at retail price then save yourself the time and trouble and stay away from this.
