cause we realized how crappy this version is. i think it needs more work and im hoping this isnt the official ics leak. im gonna flash back to gingerbread today. ics still needs some tweaks.

Can someone post a screen shot of the keyboard up here? I want to see if its any better than the old ics leak.

I didn't want credit for anything. I took no credit for anything about this leak coming out. It also wasn't about who wrote it first, it was about the fact that mine was "public" first. Everything was tested. Just because he's a Mod does not make him know more than I do, nor does it make me know more than him. My point was that it was never established that only 1 person can post these leaks or anything. If I would have known that no one else could post the leaks here, I would have posted it elsewhere.

Regardless of the who was appointed to do what, obviously some of the other Mods didn't even understand why it got deleted so apparently no one knew that Arcane was the only person that could post leaks, except you and him. I know exactly what I'm doing and can assure everyone that I'm perfectly capable of doing the same thing he did in his post. As you said though, it is what it is. Who cares right?

Enough already my friend. It has been explained a few times already on what happen and why. yes there was an accident when the htread was deleted and the member not getting let known about it. Its time to get over it and move on. The fact is leaks are a touchy subject. And yes many of us have plenty of experience in messing with this stuff. Personally and other mods & admins here know how I feel about it. No leaks should be posted but that is my opinion. To many ppl have no idea the harm that can be caused by using leaks. And this file is yet again another prime example of that. There is ppl lucky to be able to fastboot back to GB and others who can't and now have a brick on there hands. So to say you tested things and know it is good is meaningless as far as I'm concerned at this point seeing as that is NOT the case and why the links have been pulled.

Seems like everyone should settle down. It's been 5 hours since the leak went public. Someone will come up with a fix. Plus I think some people said they tested going back and it worked. They just need to post the correct steps. Everybody wants the free leak prior to official release but then is ready to burn people at the stake when there are bumps in the road.

And this is a prime example of why I'm probably the ONLY admin or mod on the site who does not agree with leaks getting out. I've been arond long enough and have had plenty of bricks and devices taken off path. Bionic was the first example and it took MONTHS for it to be figured out how to get back on path and even that was lucky in of itself.

Fact is this is the risk we take messing with this stuff. But for people to complain about who posted what or what was taken down is insane if you ask me when it is NOT a given a process will work on EVERYONES device. just because some person can get back to GB doens't mean it works for all juts like we are seeing. I guess what bothers me is everyone who seems to THINK they have the answers yet find out they don't and are just shooting there mouths without SOLID facts of the dealio. Enough of my rant and sorry all but ppl need to grow up and act like adults not a bunch of children complaining about hogwash. Specially in this case you play you may end up having to pay, and some are with off path devices and or bricks now.

So glad I downloaded the files right after this was posted. Now if I can find my laptop charger, ima see if I can get stuck on. 84 too!!! As a crackflasher I cannot resist!!!

I've got no problem with the leaks personally. I flashed it! I bricked it! Lol... This is a concrete example to everyone that things can go wrong!!!! If you're one of the lucky ones that flashed... guess who went through the steps to flash? No one is to blame here. Let's just hope there is a resolution found. I've been flashing/themeing/modding for quite a while. This isn't the first and I'm certain will not be the last bump in the road.. lol.

Never mind. I fixed Bloatfreezer Pro.

I ran titanium backup. An Error popped up saying my superuser was not correctly optimized at 0:0 on 3.0.3.2. It was at 0:2000 on 3.0.3.2.. some root apps may not work. it said it can fix it. So it did. Optimized to normal 0:0 on 3.0.3.2 now. And bam... blostfreeezer pro works again. Woohoooooo!!!!!

lol..... i know and that is why my Maxx is still on .181 GB rooted collecting dust. I want ICS until its official I'll fire up the Gnex and roll with it. I tested the first ICS leak and IMO its nothign special and has a long way to go before being ready for prime time.

But the hypocrisy of the mods taking down Hicks' thread because the leak wasn't "thoroughly tested", then posting the link without it being fully tested. The whole thing is hilarious.
