Hello All, I need help with my new XRT912 which I managed to destroy after a failed rooting.

The phone went to Encryption failed mode.

I tried to flash it via RSD lite using a stock ROM.

Flashing process never starts, I get a "Phone returned fail" message.

File is:   cdma_spyder_9.8.2O-72_VZW-16_1ff

Does somebody know how to tackle it?

Thanks

Guy

Hi there, thanks.

I have used it, it seems to have a similar problem, the utility sends the first MBM 512KB .... and stays in that message, no progress.

Are you using the Motorola usb cable or something else? Also we have seen problems with USB 3.0 ports

[*] Simple Razr Restore
[*] Windows Version
[*] Created by mattlgroff
[*]
[*] Before continuing, ensure your Razr is in the
[*] "AP Fastboot" mode and connected via USB.
[*] Be VERY aware! This WILL wipe your userdata, including contacts, apps, etc.
[*] I am not responsible if this wipes your internal sdcard, and you should
[*] backup anything worth it to you to your external sdcard and computer before
[*] you choose to continue. You can exit now with the X button on this window.
[*] WARNING: Do not do this at LOW BATTERY! You have been warned!
[*]
[*] Press any key to continue.
        sending 'mbm' (512 KB)...

do not use hub ports use rear usb ports if you are using desktop then that is going to solve the issue.
