Downloading right now! So i don't want to be annoying BUT: did you have a chance to check out the radios? also, this is a more optimized version of the regular aokp, right? thanks for all the hard work

Aww man! I had Rage Rom installed in Slot 1. Though I've been using Butter all week and think I'm going to stick with it over Rage for now. I'll see if I can do a backup of slot 1(I'm assuming I can since other people said they have done so), and backup slot 2 and restore to slot 1 for this.
Thanks for putting up a new update.
New Build is up. It addresses a number of lag issues and should be all together more stable. Be aware that it now boots from SLOT 1 and not SLOT 2
2013-05-20-- Now boots from ROM Slot 1 only-- Some sysctrl and RAM management changes-- Sync all mGerrit changes-- Holo-fy the icons (PermissionsManager)-- DynamicChangelog-- Update to AOSP 4.2.2_r1.2-- Many internal "Buttered" updates/changes-- Allow custom density setting-- LockScreen: Fix crash when unlocking twice

I also experienced the keyboard force close when I first installed the update. I backed-up slot 2, restored it to slot 1 and flashed the update. I did wipe cache/dalvik before updating. Upon first boot I received a persistent keyboard force close, so I tried fixing permissions with no luck. I then factory wiped slot 1 and reinstalled the update. This seemed to be more stable, however I now have an intermittent Bluetooth issue. Fixing permissions has not solved this problem either, but found that force closing Bluetooth Share in the apps list resolves this issue

I've been using this rom for the past week or so and I love it. Excellent work! It runs much smoother with no lag issues that I was getting with other roms. I'll be updating to the the newest build today (the OP still says 5-16 is the latest build above the link BTW). I also switched launchers from Apex to Buzz Homepack (pretty neat idea there) and have my phone exactly how I always dreamed it could be. Thanks again and keep up the good work. I have a feeling you will be converting a lot of people here.
EDIT: The only issue I have had is with the data connection on booting. I tried fixing permissions, but it still takes quite a while to get a connection. I know others have had this issues, but we'll see if the newest build irons that out.

So I updated to the lastest version did the slot swap and fixed permissions. All my phone calls now sound extremely 'digitalized'. Almost like everyone sounds like a robot. Anyone else have this or know what might fix it?
EDIT: Disregard. Did 2 more 'fix permissions' and it's back. Although with the reboot and fix permission thing we have to do with bluetooth, and now this, will there be an update to address that?

Is there a mirror for the "Gapps" download instead of Goo? I can't seem to get a complete DL from there at work and the SIM Gapps requires me to login which I don't have one. Thanks...

Nice and fast so far. Giving it a full charge then calibrating... <-Not sure if that's necessary but it's become a matter of habit. :

Are you on Verizon? Other's having MMS issues, are you on Verizon or another carrier?

The radios in this are exactly the same as stock, not difference what so ever. I did some drive around on this update with mine and my wife's watching the DB levels on both. Sometimes mine's higher sometimes hers. The bar image is calibrated differently between this and stock though so the bars are definitely different, AOKP shows weaker than stock even if DB are the same. I'm researching ways to boost/improve the radios, so if anyone has insight I'm open to it.

I'm having issues on Verizon's network with network connection as well. If I run stock or flash a cm10 rom the network works seamlessly. In the past I tried an aokp and had issues with laggy network connections, mms coming in late, things like that. When I flashed this today I had forgotten why I didn't use this rom and now I remember why. The rom itself is 10x better as far as customization and features but all of that means nothing when compared to a normal working network. I tried changing the radio settings to see if any specific one would optimize the connection and nothing seems to be anything close to just using stock/cm10 based roms. If anyone has a fix for this I would gladly like to use this rom.
