I've been having a problem where I randomly can't hear anything when making or taking calls. I've tried turning airplane mode on and off and turning mobile data on and off. The only thing that solves it is a power cycle. Anyone else have this problem or know how to permanently solve it?

 

YES...literally just came on to ask about thiis...when i recieve calls i cant hear anyone and have to hang up n call them back...its actually beginning to be a big issue lol and i didnt make an update before i flashed i dont wanna roll backkk ugh....any update to this?

I re-flashed gapps after doing a wipe and it seems to have resolved the problem *knock on wood*

When this happens, turn speaker phone on then off and you will be able to hear each other after doing so. I have had this issue, with the newest rom it isnt as bad, I still get it from time to time.

This also fixes it for me, but it happens quite frequently. It's especially annoying when you're on a call and the audio dies at the same time the person stops talking for a second because then you end up missing part of the conversion. Anyway to troubleshoot this?

When I was testing the different version of roms, it seemed that the 723 was the last to work for me before this issue. You can try reverting back to that room possibly. Post 725 has what I did to test it and it seemed like it might be the gapps; however, another user, I can't find the post now, said that they had the issue before installing gapps. So not sure where the issue is coming from seems rather random and I don't think every user is experiencing it.

Dam I'm here still on 714 because of Bluetooth issues. Even though once in a blue things happen when it's on. Especially when Bluetooth and WiFi at the same time.

I just have one question because this rom kept failing for me. Do you mount system when you flash it or just leave that unchecked?

Unless it is a stock 4.1.2 firmware, do not mount system.  This applies for all 4.2+

I actually ran into the speakerphone fix accidently lol i hit it bc it was ain important call and was hoping if i answered with it i can actually talk to the person then i turned it off n it was working...so lol yeah its a nice find...weird though seems like a minor bug that can be ironed out...i guess we will all be patiently waiting on the 4.3 build n hope its runnin strong

Yes, we have 4.3 running and fairly stable with Xenon, but bare bones.

No, it's nowhere near where we want it to be yet. We're adding features very slowly; it's been taking this long because we've been rebuilding from scratch, hoping to retain some of the speed and smoothness that made XenonHD stand out.

There's still a lot to go, and since we pull from both our own repositories and other sources, it's a time-consuming and patience-wracking process. 

Again, wanted to reassure you that we're not just taking a sabbatical!

Should I bother to try 8/7 version? I really stood on 7/14 because I need Bluetooth not to freeze and boot loop my phone

Bluetooth runs perfectly on the very latest version.

Nope. It works fine for me. I do have the occasional problem where I get an unsuccessful download from the website, but it's always temporary.

This Rom is pretty awesome so far. Thanks for the hard work. I am impressed with how fast my wifi and data tested. I am not happy with Quadrant Standard score of 4400. I am having problems with the Launcher. "Unfortunately, Onager Launcher has stopped" ? Anyone else having launcher issues?
