Am I doing something wrong with the OTA update? I downloaded it, my gapps are on the phone storage, and when I hit install it reboots me into recovery.  My question is, am I supposed to flash the rom or just the let the phone sit there and it does it by itself? Because the little dialog box says that it will reboot itself automatically once installed, but not sure...

If it's not doing anything, the recovery script isn't doing its thing. What recovery are you using?

It's supposed to boot into recovery, run the flash scripts, and reboot again.

I'm uploading an update as we speak. I've been testing it for about 1/2 hour ... no force closes yet, crossing my fingers that this kernel update did the trick. Should be on your OTA soon. 6/13 is the date.

Suh-weeeeeeeeet. I actually went back to 5/16 because of the constant FCs. 5/16 is my old standby, always rock solid. :D

Edit: A bug I noticed that hadn't been mentioned was receiving calls. The phone would only ring once, then show missed. But the person who called said that it had gone to voicemail. Something worth looking at.

Keep up the great work!

Clock work mod and yeah it just reboots into recover and nothing happens

That's going to be fixed by next version - will insert adapted cwm script for those of you who use it.

As with all roms, flash at your own risk :) A factory reset helped settle everything down, fwiw.

Did the factory reset put an end to the wake lock issues?  If so I assume factory reset will delete all apps.  Any way to backup apps and settings then cause my IT dept is getting tired of having to reauthorize my phone to connect to email, I have flashed maybe 10 times and deleted full data and factory wipe every time.  Is this posible with titanium backup?

It is the google device policy (we use google apps for email, etc).

Latest I see is 6/13.  This one fixes, as far as I can tell, the last of the camcorder issues.  I have been having SOD issues with it though.  Just changed governor and I/O scheduler to see if it has any impact.  Otherwise may try to factory reset, but never backup up an app before so just want to be sure it will keep all settings for the Google Device policy so I won't have to drive my company IT guys nuts every time I flash a rom

So far so good.  Changed to MSM DCVS governor and ROW I/O scheduler and so far no SOD.  It would do it after 10 mins pretty consistenly before and now it was locked for 45 minutes and came back.  Will try it for the next few days and report back if I am getting any SODs in a few days.

Well, that was a bust.  Just turned off the screen, it closed a bit slow.  Tried to unlock and got the SOD.

OK, so today's first dumb question - when using PIN for security screen, the nav circle(?) really doesn't work.  IF this is the case, then nav circle is just about useless when security is used?

Am I missing something?  I'm not to familiar with this ROM yet and just want to avoid the entire learning curve!

EDIT:  I also noticed, first start of some programs causes FC's, GO SMS, Dolphin browser, etc.  After closing, a restart they usually work fine.  It's almost like the ROM has to learn about them first.

ALSO:  I get notice of new version of ROM when I restart, but have the newest version installed.  Is there a way to check the OTA status?  I could not find it.  Does the OTA actually work or is this a work-in-progress?

EDIT 2:  Got a call, I didn't answer.  The phone froze up, dimly lit.  Had to do 3 finger restart.  Did that, the it froze at boot logo.  Did 3 finger again into fastboot menu, selected normal power up.  It stated up and now shows UPDATE again.........  At least it is running.   Any thoughts on why the unanswered-call freeze up?

OK folks I've got good news.

Potentially.

No jinxes here hopefully.

I think I may have fixed the Random FC issue. Please cross your fingers. I'm testing for a few hours, then will push a release to OTA.

Guys if you're still having issues with sod and freezing on calls ... Try increasing the CPU min to 486. It seems to be doing the trick on the latest carbon build.

Good idea ducats...the tinkering they're doing with cpufreq may have something to do with it?

Been an hour, no FC's.. that's a record. We've got testers now working on breaking it. Still got the SOD, but no force close issues at all.

EDIT: If you're impatient and want to break it, go here ;)

New files are up. There will be no OTA for this, as we have gone over our TB bandwidth.

Check out the 2nd post for the newest build on mediafire!
