Alright had some free time to figure out this built in WiFi tether issue people are having. So I created a new ROM slot on 1. Installed the 1.1 over straight off the bat and cooked it in then rebooted to apply the Triton theme. Well later I decided to try tether and it acted like it was going to work then it shut down. Trying to recreate what I did wrong and I have concluded that once the ROM is loaded and cooked in. One step one should do is open and configure the WiFi tether first and connect at lease one device to it. Then if you want to add a theme do that last after setting the device up. Hope that this helps.

This ROM has breathed new life into my Bionic but I am having a few issues with certain apps not installing.  One of them being Copilot which I use on a regular basis.  It errors out during installation and their support is blaming it on the ROM.  Is there anything I should be looking into to trouble shoot this issue? I don't want to go back to stock.

So you saying to boot the rom sign into google download wifi tether then connect wifi tether to a source.  then apply a theme.

If you've been talking to their support find out what apps or apks that it is dependant on. You could always switch over to your stock and use titanium backup to backup those stock apps and reinstall them on the ROM then. I don't believe anything dealing with GPS was taken out, I could very well be wrong though

No boot the ROM, go into the System setting for Tethering and Mobile Hotspot and set it up. Then apply theme. Why use a third party app for tethering when the feature is unlocked on the ROM.

On a side note the DSP manager loves my LG BT headset again streaming Pandora.... Once again you out did yourself guys. Live for the Music.

Hadn't thought about the theme causing problems. Thanks for the heads up.

How long have you been on the ROM? Usually takes a couple days for battery life to level out.

Theme shouldn't cause any problems at all unless there is a themed apk I don't know about. And if your tethering turns on and then right back off again, try rebooting your phone. Usually that fixes it.

See I tried that as well, but it just wouldn't turn on even after a reboot. I don't think it has anything to do with the theme, but something in the Hotspot app that doesn't like the UI changes for some reason. Since I have slot 1 all good to go with everything running I am going to break into this a bit more tomorrow. Also noticed, not a big deal breaker, that when I opened up TIBU to restore backup it ask to enable Android Debug. So I go into Developer options as I always do and check it on. Go back and open TIBU and same message pops up. It is like it didn't sync the system that it was on. To get the message to stop I went into the app info of TIBU and cleared cache and data then reopened it. Will it be possible to add in the build prop for Debug to activate on bootup? Like I said not a deal breaker this thing rocks.

no because the theme only changes whats in the rom..that zip you flashed to get dsp has a settings apk in it..the icon has to be changed there..you must have flashed the dsp zip first then the theme because otherwise all your settings icons would be stock

Been running a test version of this for Bama.  Loving it.

Where can I d/l this theme. Looked in Bionic themes and did not see it for Flying Jelly.

If your talking about the Triton theme it is in the OP of this tread. I thought they would have placed it in the theme selection, but Bama pointed that out for me.
