Would not recommend it since it uses the JB kernel

I love this ROM as well; been using it since it was released. :)  However, am not so lucky with the battery life: even on simple calls/light browsing, it is depleting a bit more quickly. I try and keep it on wifi whenever possible and have turned off most battery eating apps. Haven't tried with extended battery yet.

No this ROM can only be flashed if you are on the JB update.

Here is what you do go to the house of bionic on this forum FXZ save data ICS then re-root install voodoo upgrade binaries for SU then protect root with Voodoo.  Unroot with Voodoo and go into recovery then take the update.  Then go to Voodoo and reinstall root.  If you are using safestrap then you have to delete your SU back up or any back ups you make will get borked.  DO NOT USE BOOTSTRAP WITH JB IT WILL BRICK YOUR PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will then have to FXZ JB and reroot with unbuntu<----------you don't want to have to do this.   Once you have JB delete bootstrap if you plan on making a back up or running a rom then install safestrap.

Hmm when JP releases the patch we'll see if that helps at all and if not we will look more into it.

A lot of the battery problems that bionic users come across now is that the batteries are worn out. If it is severely worse than stock then we will look into it

I can attest to this. I continuously had a problem where my battery would drop from 40% to 20%. Nothing I tried fixed it (and I tried just about everything). Battery life was mediocre on most ROM's and I only managed 2 hours of screen time with 3G. I purchased a fresh new battery a few weeks ago and all is solved. I get 3+ hours of display time almost every time now.

found another bug when wifiether is active you can't use any apps as soon as you open one it kicks the wifi tether off. The hot spot still does not work not that I use it I use wifi tether.deactivating the DNS client fixed the wifi tether app it did not fix hotspot I also deactivated tether boost that did not fix the hot spot.

@nightphlight
Try wiping and deleting your ROM slot, then create it again and re-flash. Same thing happened to me, this fixed it.

I'm not getting this one. I'm typing this on a device that's connected to my bionic via hotspot, with a game and tapatalk running on my bionic. Are you using the baked in hotspot or a different one?

Why use as third party WiFi tether app when the stock works way better. It could be compatibility issues with the app. Go into settings/Tethering & Hotspot and set it up and enjoy.

Set what up? you turn it on it connects and I have no data. That's why I use wifi tether which works it just disconnects when I try to use another app. It doesn't do this on the stock system.

Alright JP Day 2 and went back to work so BT didn't let me down, knock on wood, hopefully it was just a fluke or something. As far as Battery life on this I pulled it off the charger at 6:30 pm when the alarm went off  :lol: and went all day with sync on, WiFi on, and 4G data and this is on Stock battery that I have had since Day 1. So just tell those Guys to go get a new Battery  :p  :p  :p  :p ..
