well i reinstalled and made sure clean sweep would not take safe strap out..
rebooted and i lost rom slot 1 again. ...
any other ideas?

Do you have clean sweep installed on stock slot as well?
Also which Safestrap version are you using?

yes clean MASTER not clean sweep

If you are going to be using FJ as a daily driver then suggest booting into stock slot. Clear cache, data and force stop that app in app manager. Then you should be fine from there.
Also look into updating your SS recovery as well. Anything above 3.60 should work a lot better.
