Have there been any updates on this? I'm wondering how it's going!

I think they are waiting on the source for 3.0.8 kernel to continue developing

Droid 3 and Droid RAZR are 2 totally different machines. Everyone should also remember that this is a bypass, not an unlock.

I understand. But, Hascode listed the Razr as 1 of the 4 supported devices, so hopefully in the future this will help us. I'd take a bypass over nothing!

While not trying to underestimate Hashcodes abilities, I'm staying skeptical. They tried the same stuff for the Droid X for YEARS and never got it.

Being skeptical isn't always a bad thing. I'm hopeful more than anything else but time will tell.

I no scott well. Have even spoken to him on the phone a few times. He does not bull$#!+ or get ppls hopes up if he says he can do it. There is a 99% chance he has it working already and is working out the bugs. I have faith in his ability. And D3 to RAZR, yeah big difference but not as much as it seams ;)

I would follow you into the darkness sir! If you say he can do it, I'll put my faith in that.

I have nothing but respect for Hashcode, his works speak for themselves, but a little bit of history, if I may. Back when Hash was working on the first safestrap for the bionic, [mbm] tried to get him on the kexec bandwagon or at least on that line of thinking. While I'm glad he went ahead with the safestrap route due to the obvious problems (and time constraints) getting kexec to work, I'm just as glad he is working on it now. I have no doubt that he, kholk and [mbm] will get it all figured out.

I forgot to mention hashcode is working off of there work and collaborating with kholk and MBM. So I see nothing but greatness coming out of this whole ordeal!
