i have flashed the PACMan ROM (can't recall testing rotation).
however, I think I see what you mean now. I tried to view some of my landscape pics/vids, and the screen did NOT rotate. however, all of my apps that work solely in landscape mode, do convert to landscape. I'm sure this could be a simple tweak.... googling now....

Anyone having the rotation issue. Please try this...
You will need to navigate to /system/etc/init.d and drop the file in that folder. You will need to overwrite the originial one and make sure the permissions are the same. Then reboot.
To clarify, I had made an option in this tweak to allow 270 degree rotation. I have removed that part to see if that is what was causing the issue. For those that test, please respond so I know if I am going in the right direction. Thanks.

i don't see a "26_build.bin" file in that folder - I presume this is to replace the "26_build" file? can we just edit that line in that file instead? like delete it all together or adjust the number?

Ha! So my question was answered. There is a 26_build file there...The file I uploaded was supposed to overwrite the one that was in there...did it? I assume the 26_build.bak is a backup you made just in case?

well, there is a "26_build" file - I guess that copying the "26_build.bin" file will overwrite that? the .bak file was generated automatically when I edited the file earlier today for the sensor proximity issue.
personally, I'd rather edit a line within that file rather than simply replace it.

Ok, up to you. I also edited the proximity sensor info for those hanging up on people.
The line is setprop windowsmgr.support_rotation_270=true;
You can just delete it or change it to false.

changing it to false did not work.

What did it do?
nothing that I have noticed thus far. I also tried placing a "#" in front of that line as well (rebooted both times).

And you still have issues with auto rotation? Have you tried deleting it all together?

Wow This is absolutely amazing. Fantastic job on this Rom. I will surely be don9'ing
Quick question: what is the removal of the no soft keys mod.. I mean.. what is the purpose O_o. Is there a replacement app people are using in place of them? Thanks!

removing the soft keys expands your screen all the way down. however, you will need a pie launcher like LMT to access those controls.
