don't use CPU sleeper...

It may help your phone get into a deep sleep.  Sorry to hear about the battery life.

well - could just be my area or my device, as everyone else seems to think this ROM is all the rage.  feel like there is a huge party going on, and I can't get seem to stay sober....  oh well, back to Energy ROM.  but otherwise, everything is running great - nice and smooth.

ok, so this is really wierd now.  my battery has read 68% for the past 2 hours.  I've checked other apps, and they all read the same (so I don't think there is anything wrong with the honeycomb circle battery widget).

perhaps the battery is settling down now and maybe it takes some time for the radio signal to connect/adjust to the tower.

when using the "Network/Signal Info" app, i get a message that reads, "Cell has wrong values or isn't in database"  not sure if that has anything to do with it, or just a lack of capability within that app.

so I'll continue sticking with this ROM through the weekend - hoping that it just needed to settle in (I think I read somewhere where someone's ROM install instructions included "after reboot, let the phone sit and chill for 10 minutes"

That's something I'll look into cause I like that idea. How does everybody feel about some lock screen mods...

one last suggestion - for the battery widget, I've always liked how it changed colors when the battery level reached a certain threshold.

for example:

0-15% Red

16-30% Yellow

31-50% Green

51+% Blue

I know it can be a pain, as you'll need to create 100 images - but like I said, just a suggestion.....  thanks again for your work - looking forward to the lockscreen mods

Ha, it's actually like 202 images. :-D

But as most of you have requests for s.dubs I think he will be making his own thread for DeadRage mods.

How were you able to get the clock/weather/battery widiget? Maybe I am missing something obvious but I cannot seem to find it. Thanks!

here is a link to all the apps you will need to get it to work..

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

make sure you download the weather app also..

APPs you'll need, Launcher, 3d circle widget, weather app and quick view app. i prefer pushing them all to system/app folder and setting permissions..

some people just install them as regular apps..

hope this all works out for you..

Check out xda. Look for "Motorola circle widget launcher". That's how I got it working on mine!

Love my RAZR M

Hey all, check through this thread, yelson13 had a dropbox download link for a flashable zip of the home launcher and circle/weather widget, which lets you flash it just like the ROM. After installing the ROM I rebooted and powered down as per the instructions given by tim for the ROM, then booted into twrp and flashed the zip from yelson13, finally wiping cache and dalvik. After flashing and rebooting, I even deleted apex launcher from my system, using rom toolbox pro(this is optional).  Any one using the apk style files., can use rom toolbox's, app manager, to convert the Homescreen.apk to a system app, if they wish to delete apex launcher.  Once again this is optional and I will not take responsibility if you delete the wrong thing.  As anyone who is in these threads should already understand, all we do is EXPERIMENTAL. Although DeadRage is absolutely awesome and I can't wait for the next update. Don't worry tim we know you are trying your best, this ROM definitely shows that, so as for me I will wait patiently until your next release.  You know what they say perfection takes time and I have to say this is pretty close to perfect, so take all the time you need.  Hope this helps.

I am running everything stock except root, cwm recovery, and unlocked bootloader v4.1.1. I wiped the dalvik cache and the wipe cache from the main menu and did a system reset from CWM as well as mount everything. i wasnt sure if i was suppose to format system in the advanced menu so i didn't do that. do you think this is where i went wrong? and does it matter that the internal sd card wont mount?

To be honest i haven't used cwm since my s2 but I think you probably should be formatting system and making sure it's mounted before flashing. As for internal mounting I am not sure about that, I do know all of mine are always mounted in twrp.

It's possible it's a bad download. Did you download from your phone or computer?

You would format system in mounts and storage. You don't need to mount anything except system. You said you were on 4.1.1 someone correct me if I am wrong but is this ROM not built off 4.1.2

why would the version matter isnt that what flashing the rom does is replace the OS?

It replaces the OS but not the kernel. Kernel must match the OS version.
