I'm running the Black/White Theme, with no soft keys.
I'm wondering if that theme along with the no soft key helps with the auto-rotation problem. I'm just running plain jane DeadRage 1.2a with no changes to the themes or anything else.

RikRong, just wondering what you mean by wiped data? Also which .apk file is it?
Wiping data cache for the motiondetection.apk, through TiBU or another similar app.
RikRong, aside from the DeadRage 1.2a ROM on your phone, do you have any of the Rage themes installed?

Every time I go into settings>launcher I get a force close error.

I'm sure it was I just don't really have time to scroll through 35 pages of posts to find an answer lol

Reading through multiple posts comes with the territory. Do you buy a new car, sight unseen?

Perhaps a mod can update the first page to just list out the current bugs.

It's things like this that have run devs off of this website. Nitro keeps his stuff away from this website because of the incessant nagging he would get in his threads. Another dev just pulled all of his stuff this week. I'm not sure if it was all attributed to the complaining, but I'm sure it had something to do with it.
Tim and TeamRage are a great group of developers, along with LiteSpeed and the others on this forum. They are extremely tolerant and patient, more so than I would be. You only need to read back one or two pages, to see that the launcher button doesn't work. You can can also see it doesn't work when you run the ROM. I'm usually a pretty patient guy, but this is starting to get old. Tim has no obligation to post this, he did it for our benefit, as do the other devs. They don't do this for a living, they do it as a hobby (most of them, anyway). Give the guy some room.

My bad. Please don't take my suggestion the wrong way. I'm still new here and obviously haven't been around in this forum. My intention of my response wasn't to nag at all.
Off to my B/W theme testing the auto-rotate/reboot.

No but I also don't go look at 490 of them either. I'm sorry I have a life outside of my phone. I don't see the point in being rude. I asked, dev answered, alls good. Its not like I was begging him for a fix...

I saw this same drama in the thunderbolt forums when I had that device. Another reason I click the DL, thank the dev and walk away...

Sorry, it didn't come off the wrong way, and I apologize if my response was harsh. MTB, the phone is not my life either. I'm just going to leave it at that, to end more "drama."My bad. Hey for anyone experiencing the auto-rotate function problem. I was having the same issue and tried just rebooting a few times, which didn't work. After messing around trying to figure it out, I disabled the auto startup function in cpusleeper and rebooted and now good to go, typing this out in landscape mode now. Hope this helps. Also once again excellent build, one of the most stable Roms I have ever used. On payday I will be showing my love.

That could be why I wasn't having the problem with reboot, I deleted that app.
CPU sleeper may have been conflicting with some of the tweaks.

RikRong, just wondering if you still have CPU sleeper on your phone or if you have disabled it. I've checked my CPU sleeper settings and the auto startup is not even checked. I haven't tried to disable or remove it from my phone though. Oh, and installing the black and white theme did not fix the auto-rotate for me. I'll still be keeping the theme installed though

Hey guys,
I don't want you to think I forgot about you. I am in the process of converting my whole system to Ubuntu for easier android development. I am having to reload everything to get back to where I was at... But trust me, I am still here and working towards an update. Hang in there guys... The end is in sight! :
