just wanted to report that I tried this out today.  very nice - quick and smooth.  my lone concern was that I had wifi problems right off the bat (ESPN streak for the CASH app).  i don't think that it was an issue with your ROM though, as I tend to experience wifi issues previously (although mostly with FB or apps using FB).  also, I had troubles restoring my system data via TiBu - so I'll have to go back and figure that out.

 

however, I did not experience any force closes when accessing launcher settings via Holo Launcher.

 

after I can get a better backup file created for my settings, then I'll try this again.

I downloaded and flashed your ROM 2 days ago via safestrap. I got failed response each time I tried. Reading further into the thread I saw that someone else was having this issue. They rebooted and the ROM loaded. As did mine.

I've played with it a bit since then and have found a few issues.

1. In the settings menu, when you choose "Launcher" settings force close

2. Text messaging force closes upon opening

3. Phone force closes upon dialing.

4. Flashing no button mod cancels parts of theme out and flashing theme cancels out no button mod.

Other than these issues every other feature seems to be up and working. Hadn't have the time to test every thing yet. I was going to unlock bootloader today and flash that way. I like the ROM and the themes. Keep up the good work.

You may have a bad flash. I know the launcher settings doesn't work as of know, but have not heard of or had any issue with phone or messaging. I haven't flashed the no button mod so couldn't tell you there. I thought I saw something in an earlier post about that and possibly a fix.

I will address these in order.

1. As was said already the force close in settings is a known issue and will be fixed or removed in the next update.

2.and 3. I have not heard of these issues. However this ROM was built more to be flashed on a unlocked bootloader with custom recovery. Some of these issues may be because of that.

4. Most themes have there own no soft key mod. Otherwise you are right. It will cancel the systemui part of the theme.

Just adding onto the no rotating issue; When flashed 1.2a not rotating issue occurred initially. However, after rebooting the phone, the issue became permanent and won't fix itself even after rebooting again.

Sorry that you are having these issues. Did you flash with Safestrap or another custom recovery?

OK, shouldn't be any issues. Will look deeper into it next week and see what I can come up with.

I went into bulid.prop and changed some settings and its now resolved the problem is I did it at 3AM so I forget what I did I am gonna load the bulid.prop from my phone in a text editor and from the rom zip and compare I will post the differences soon but kinda occupied so it may be an hour or two.

I figured that it was because I'm flashing in safestrap. Just looking for a confirmation. I just recovered from a minor brick screwing around with safestrap so I hasn't had chance to try to re flash. I will probably unlock my bootloader in a while and try that way.

Accessibility menu... Is auto rotate checked there also for the ones with probs

I used matt's utility to update to 4.1.2 and I just flashed DeadRage. Seems to be working in order after reboot. I will report again later.

Edit: spoke too soon. I was causally watching a YouTube video and it froze so I force rebooted. Then, proximity sensor no longer works and rotation doesn't work as well. These are some screenshots of the auto-rotate options and about phone page.
